Great job Jwells, I know a great deal of work goes into compiling these lists, kudos and much appreciated.
This is a version of “ML secretly loved FL since high school and they flash wed story”, Wang Gege , Ma Le Jie & Zhang Shan’s respective versions where better because the MLs all had a warmer approach then Ben Wang.
My issue with Ben Wang aka Wang Haozhen is that at the beginning of each drama he always has a cold depressing demeanor, not fun to watch. If Shi Tong wasn’t so cute and beautiful, and the production was top notch I would have dropped this like hot smelly sack of potatoes.
I endured this because of course “Mi Qi”, if there’s a more perfectly cute and beautiful actress I would love to see her, only “Zhang Shan”, “Jade Jia” , “Chen Yayu, “Li Yaya” & “Tian Miaomiao” come close, Mi Qi” is the queen albeit by slim margin.
I have only watched only 1 good version of this miracle doctor from the countryside dramas, besides that one the Yu Long/Yang Mie Mie was passable because of the couple’s chemistry.
This version had on romance was boring and I couldn’t figure out if the FL was supposed to have a split personality, if not why couldn’t she figure everything out considering she is supposedly highly intelligent. Oh well no rewatch in the horizon.
FL not listed is Yang Shuyu, I suspect she is a newcomer.

The doctor ML, feels pity and wants to scare the heroine away, but the heroine, who is constantly sucked by her mother, returns to the hero's side again, and the two spend a night together.
This one story I have not seen overdone yet, I've seen 2 other versions with Fan Diyu & Li Key Yi respectively and they have been both good, even the Fan Diyu / Huang Bo version was particularly bloody and I disliked the ending of that version.

The best reborn drama bar none, well cast, well produced, A+ wardrobe. The message is uplifting, "He Finds a Good Wife Finds a Thing". This is one of the few Skit/Web Dramas that had a well written and mature message. A wonderful watch and rewatch.

Nonna romance done right, I generally don’t watch older woman/younger man but this was well produced and acted. A lot of eye candy for those that care about that sort of thing.
Ahh I completely disagree. This is one of the best family dramas out there.
I wouldn’t make such a judgement on you based solely on internet posts. I disagree vehemently with some of my best friends. A big problem we face is that in modern times a lot of people think those that disagree are bad.

I see, filmed vertically/skit/mini dramas seem to have blown up in 2024, and because the shooting period is short its hard to keep up. Ive also noticed regular drama actors are also getting in on the act and the production quality is improving.
