I’m not entirely convinced that this drama genre is suited for this particular kind of slow burn romance.

Using miscommunication to artificially create and stretch out conflict is tolerable in long dramas, but in tic-tock dramas it’s irritating.

The one redeeming factor for this show is the lead actress, she has the acting chops to take on any role in any genre.

My other 2 faves are, Hou Cheng Yue and Chai Hui Xin

Some times you have to try and recognize the faces in the small thumbnails.

There’s a comedy called “Hormone Game” she plays a jewel thief that of course marries a billionaire to get a jewel as the betrothal gift, and she gets invisibility powers(I’m not kidding), but she is actually very funny and good in it.
Titled in this genre are hard to track down for the non Chinese literate.

Yes it does, MDL doesn’t have the complete list, and some dramas have similar plot synopsis.

She has a few not listed on MDL, She’s a captivating actress for sure.

I like the message to women to view marriage in practical terms.
The most important component of romance/love is proximity.

Good concept, but ruined by not properly setting up the conflicts. They made the female lead dumbly walking into situations just to have a conflict, so lazy.

I’ve always suspected the database for these short dramas are in complete on MDL

Sweet, tender youth drama.
Surprisingly this drama actually had a somewhat unique storyline that was actually grounded and logical.
I was not over the top like these dramas tend to be.

The female lead’s experience in regular dramas shows, and she definitely carried the show.
It was also refreshing to see a feminine and strong female lead.

The bad characters were well balanced by good reasonable characters, viewers won’t get overly triggered.

I wish the writer/director where written in the credits so we can look for there other works.

One of the things I like about this Cdramas they don’t overly use the “marriage approval fight” like Kdramas.

Thanks, I recently discovered this genre and I find it’s the only way I can actually enjoy CDramas in condensed doses

To many characters and random story lines.
This was obviously a cash grab, with no credible story or plot ideas.

Beyond boring, lie on a bag of rocks while watching if you want to stay awake.

Do I sense chemistry between male lead and female lead? Or should I just get my mind out the gutter. Heavens forgive me.

Studio Dragon, I’m in. I know the cinematography will be on point.

I just hope it doesn’t end like Romeo and Juliet.

The young version cast looks more appealing as a whole, and I’ve not seen Namkoong Min really play a romantic lead with a lot of romance with his FL.
