Something about this never hooked me. I loved Koo Kyo Hwan's performance as always but I didn't find characters particularly interesting, everything seemed a little too easy, and I just wasn't all that invested. I think maybe 6 episodes just wasn't enough.
This felt like two different movies. His struggles to safely and legally exist in Belgium could have been a great movie. But the underground gabling ring and all the "action" tied to it felt so silly, it really destroyed any poignancy this film could have had.
This show was a mess. People are twisting themselves into pretzels looking for "deeper meanings" that simply weren't there. This was a pretty artifice with exceptionally lazy character work.
Wonderfully layered storytelling. Brilliant characters. Fun, vibey action. A super smart structure. This was such a well executed show. And I loved the ending. I hope there's more but I'm satisfied either way.
hi here's answers to all your questions because it sounds like you missed a lot - - mafia could have tossed everyone's phone based on previous attempts out get out of the game we can reasonably assume this would have counted as breaking a rule -they could have injured or killed everyone at night at any point. they would have all had to agree. that wouldn't' have happened with jung won in the mix. - da beom, who was very determined to kill yo he never got a chance after realizing jung won had turned on him - we still don't know how or why yeon woo got stabbed, how ma you need this spelled out? da beom stabbed yeon woo. they dragged her shoe through the spray. - we still don't know jun hee's bac it's irrelevant. we got as much as we needed. - we still don't have a again irrelevant. we got as much as we needed. this is actually GOOD writing. not over-explaining or providing unnecessary info. are you curious what they had for breakfast too? - essentially our ML and FL, they're the protagonists because they're most innocent. hope that helps. - jung won apparently yes, she came up with the plans. because she's a computer who has run this scenario dozens of times already. - jun hee and yoon yes the parents are villains, blaming the entire class out of grief. - in fact, only a handfu again the parents are villains. they're punishing everyone. - girl literally com this is just a gross comment. has nothing to do with the writing. - Mafia is a random game. y not random when the villains are running it specifically to torture. - frail and sic she's essentially been in a coma for who knows how long. so yes, she's weak. - what's the po to keep them in agony - if jung won i no she remembers. - what the it was an indication that something unusual was going on. a breakthrough from the outside world. - and the they haven't been there that long. but i'm sure we can reasonably assume the villains are dealing with it.
It wasn't a what-if or a dream. It was their next lives. They have to wait for the next lives to be together again.
But it wasn't his body. For him to just permanently take over the existence of someone else who had a life, a career, a family, a whole word - it wouldn't have really been right or made sense.
I loved the ending. Bittersweet. They can't be together in this life but they'll be together in their next life without the baggage of their tragic pasts. Fit the story perfectly.
