Yes, she had the voice he fell for but I didn’t find anything else compelling about her. It’s hard not to feel that the ML was too good for the FL even though I wanted them to get together. Yes, I know it’s fluff, but the relationship and power dynamic seemed too uneven to fully find their relationship believable. But since Zhou Ye is the FL, then I can say it was love at first hearing and sight for the ML. Love O2O is also fluff, but I feel that both leads truly deserve each other.😀
I hope this drama can provide the FL with more substance to make her worthy of the ML compared to the novel.

I get it….we all have different taste. I think he looks otherworldly in BFTB but not in Blood of Youth, where he looks more effeminate in many of the posted pix. I do agree that Neo’s face is made for costume series though.

I’ve seen them and he looks much younger and more feminine at times in blood of youth….I definitely prefer his looks in BFTB since he looks more manly here.

I read the novel and found it cute….but I never understood why the male lead fell for the female lead. She was simply star struck and passive throughout the novel. Although I was rooting for her, I felt that he was still way out of her league. That said, I am looking forward to this series…maybe the drama will do a better job to show how and why the male lead fell for her. The novel’s reason was too weak but I think a part of it is we only get to see the FL’s point of view so the explanation is sorely lacking.

It hasn’t been confirmed? These two have amazing visuals…it will be our loss if we can’t see them paired up in a drama.

She also has a modern youth series with Zhang Ling He to be filmed. A very good looking list of male leads indeed!

I continue to rewatch ep 27 when YH fully accepts TY’s love. I loved how she confessed her feelings “in her dreams” just to fully embrace him when she discovers he’s alive and she is shameless about her confession. It was so sweet to see TY hear YH’s love declaration….he also waited so long for her to love him “again.” All that groveling paid off in the end.

I would have loved to see a more faithful adaptation as well. Although I have not read the novel, it appears their relationship was more perfect in it than the series. However, I enjoyed the comedy in the series and the amazing chemistry between the leads.

She knows him. Baozi is his love language to her, hence the Baozi offer from her to let him know that she remembers him.

She will be working with Zhang Ling He next! All of these gorgeous actors/actresses pairing up together is making it so easy to return to c-drama. Don’t worry, Neo. You and ZY are my favorite ship and I need to see you pair up again!

That was never confirmed (though we all suspect it to be true) and is old news from 2 years ago. Other news suspect they already broke up. We can definitely still ship Neo and Zhou Ye until one them confirms they are dating someone. Their chemistry on and off screen make them so shippable.❤️❤️❤️
