Why is there increase in number of troll and antis towards our XLH? Jealousy? Please watch the drama properly with an open mind before you judge. XLH is feminine, but she is not weak. She is the strongest person in the drama, and even vs many other FL, cuz even though she is weaker in power, she is strong in holding on to her conviction against those stronger in power than her. She is courageous, stands by her principles and fights for her beliefs. She is STRONG and INDEPENDENT, plus mature and sensitive enough (high EQ) to understand and have empathy for differences in others. How can ANYONE call that weak?

Since I talked about XLH, want to also share that I am watching Esther Yu in Moonlight and totally enjoying the show. I usually don't get engaged in modern Cdramas cuz I find the directing/ acting/ humor/ romance less natural and kinda awkward. So I was surprised how I was able to binge watch this for 7 episodes straight. Esther's character is very cute and likeable, and she reminds me a bit of XLH (in her cuteness and persistence) but much more street-smart. And the ML Ding Yuxi is a new revelation to me! I like his acting style very much. He and Esther has great chemistry here.

I really enjoy Esther's acting, both in LBFAD and Moonlight. Now I need to go catch some Dylan's other dramas.

Will binge LBFAD once Netflix release all the episodes!

OK, finally found the epilogue, phew!! It's a good thing I got a bit of spoilers about it, so I was not really disappointed. In fact, I was smiling away as I watch the scenes, some were repeats and some were extra scenes (from previous episodes). The extra kissing scenes were esp hot. I thot it was done pretty well. Especially like the part when DFQC said XLH has not been getting enough sun lately and getting lazy again. It's so CUTE!

I guess this also mean all doubts about whether DFQC actually came back to XLH or its just her illusion, can be laid to rest. They are together again, happily married now for 300 years!!

For Epilogue 2, my guess is that it will be their married life from XLH's perspective. I just hope they give us a LOT more extra scenes, esp their lovey-dovey ones. And pls, give us kids or at least show she is pregnant!!

Totally agree with you! I was taken aback when I read how some thot XLH betrayed DFQC. She was just being loyal to her people/ family/ friends. Nothing wrong with that. It's only when she see that Moon Tribe also have their own story and sufferings from the war, that she realise it's difficult to say who is right and who is wrong. That is when she started to see things from DFQC and Moon Tribe's perspective, and not just from Shuiyuntian's perspective.

Also like what you say about XLH being an anti-war character. This really set her apart and directed her actions and decisions. I guess this is because she is from Xishan tribe who has always been the peacemaker and neutral party in the 3 realms.

I am guessing Dramacool will have it. Usually they have new episodes (even VIP ones) around 1-2 hours after it airs.

I can't believe the team kept this a secret these last few weeks!! Did they shoot new scenes? Or they had already filmed the scenes but couldn't keep it in the drama cuz of only 36 ep? I hope they will have wedding and also family scene with kids running around!! PLEASE Dramagods!!

I am not sure what kind of development you were looking for, but to me the FL, Xiao Lan Hua is a very strong character, despite her weak appearances. From the very start, when she talked about how she is treated well (when she was really being bullied) etc. you can see what a positive outlook she has. She never gave up trying to repair her damaged roots, she was the most courageous one during the fairy trial and saved everyone else, and she dared to go against DFQC from the start. I don't think a strong FL lead needs to always be the smartest, strongest etc. XLH has strong inner strength and she knows what is right/ wrong and good/ bad, and always fight for it even knowing she is a weak fairy. If it's her voice or how she behave (in appearance) like being cute etc, we should not judge by appearances. Her maturity in dealing with bullies, with gods stronger than her and always standing her ground, shows she is one of the strongest FL (in personality, values and principles) vs many others I've seen in ancient Cdramas. Like what many have mentioned here, Xiao Lan Hua is like the Elle Woods (Legally Blonde) of Xian Xia. All power to feminine and strong female leads!!

Not an oldie, but just a fan of LBFAD. I rewatched LBFAD, and now watching LLTG up to Ep 35. Wanted to rewatch LBFAD on Netflix, but its only up to Ep 6....

My chinese is not that great but the literal translation is "How dare you touch my people/ person". Although some feel disappointed that he didn't say "my girl", the word "wo de ren" (or ben-zuo de ren) can also mean "this person belongs to me". This can be interpreted as being possessive over a girl/ guy (that's possibly why XLH misunderstood that DFQC was interested in her). Just my take on this. It's a clever way to put it as it has double meaning.

Well, big props to Esther's dad for making a good investment and believing in the production team! The quality of the production shows it was a well-used investment. At the end of the day, this news is not even verified, but even if true, I see no issue with it. Esther Yu NAILED the role of XLH, and she proved that the producer/ director's choice of her taking the role was the best decision ever. Audiences and reviewers all gave her a big THUMBS UP for her natural portrayal of XLH. It totally makes sense why she was casted.

It's not on spotify yet...only the main theme song is on Spotify. Been checking everyday. I am hoping that when it is released on Netflix, they will also release the whole OST on spotify.
