This show was so heartwarming and touching! Definitely a new fave for me. I love the story, characters, everything ❤️ I dock it one point only because I wish they dug more into Mhok's story. I understand the focus on Day's story because it's the whole premise of the show but they introduced a really interesting background for Mhok and just let it flop. The ending kind of left me feeling like Day never reciprocated much in the relationship but they just let all the problems and the work fall on Mhok. He didn't care to ask or understand or work through the issues at all when Mhok had done so much understanding for him? That's the one small annoyance I had with it but otherwise everything was so perfect. Just what I needed ❤️
Not meaning to be disrespecful to visually impaired people, but I laughed through the entire 1st episode:-)So…
Japanese delinquents (or hooligans XD) often dyed their hair (specifically blond but you can see many colors now) and wore western fashions which Japanese equated with something like a wannabe "American/yankee." Yankee became a word to just describe delinquents in general in Japanese.
I think the writing is a bit messy but it's overall pretty entertaining. The writers clearly wanted the audience to be a bit perceptive. They don't spell everything out. They give a clue and you have to be the detective. In some ways it's better than the well-written, cliche stories where I can just predict everything that will happen.
A couple things I think people were confused on. First, when the twins start switching. After Sprite makes the question to Zee if he can pretend to be him 3 days a week, they immediately start switching. Previously, the teammates had made a comment on how Zee's (aka Sprite's) hair looked good parted. If you're confused who Zee is atm, look at his hair. Since people were confused who was Zee, I think they were also confused why Sprite (Zee) would be acting coldly to First all of a sudden. Maybe it was the writers' intent to make you somewhat confused like First idk ☠️
Since Zee agreed to let Sprite do that, I think it was also somewhat confusing why he would intentionally be mean to First and also not tell Sprite what he had done when Sprite had told him that he liked First. But there seems to be a dynamic between the twins themselves. They are twins that have been separated since they were young and pitted against each other by the parents. When Sprite broke the puzzle when they were little and Zee stated that he hated that Sprite always broke things and thought it was easy to fix, that was a clue. When the mom got mad at younger Sprite for not wanting to do volleyball and the dad said he would teach him jiu-jitsu instead, that was another clue. Zee has always been obedient and put in effort to please the parents. Sprite has always been the free spirit and did whatever he wanted. Because of this, I think Zee blames Sprite for their families separation, something that can't be easily repaired. He saw Sprite struggling to master volleyball and live as him so he decided to let Sprite suffer and face hardship that would also be difficult to repair. Maybe Zee never wanted to do volleyball himself? Maybe he's jealous and resentful that Sprite "stole" their dad away and could do whatever he wanted? Maybe we'll find out in ep12? 🤔
One thing I'm confused on... why the heck does Sprite use his own phone when he's supposed to be Zee? How was First not like "who the heck is Sprite? Why is his pfp him in jiu-jitsu uniform?" If anyone has an answer, please feel free to share 🙏☠️
does anyone know the song that goes like "ooh ahh ee owww" that plays in some of the scenes? like the scene where…
It's music composed by 小田切大 (Odagiri Dai) for the drama. I haven't seen any official release of the soundtrack so I don't know if you can find it anywhere yet.
In Japan does the first name come first or is it the surname? I can't tell when reading some pages on here
Surname comes first in Japanese but many times the translators will flip it in the English translations. So you may see it as surname first or given name first sometimes.

Question: Why was Suying so obsessed with Mo Sheng? I get that she loved him, and he cared for her at one point,…
She probably felt that she wasted too much on him for him not to love her. She went to such lengths to fool and steal all the pieces of poor Tianyao just for her man to fall in love with another and forget about her. If he didn't love her, she made herself a terrible person for nothing. She also said multiple times that if he remembered he would love her again.

Dang, I don't think anyone's going to have an answer for this plot hole. It's going to bug me so much. Really not sure what they were thinking ☠️
