This era of viewers are too focused on being shallowly entertained that they fail to see overall messages and overall themes in a story. They just want quick entertainment rather than patiently seeing the threads in the whole story. This drama is not just about thrills but is about oppression, survival and resilience. If you haven't watched it, I say ignore the comments and form your opinion without influence of others. People nowadays hobby is to find fault in everything so I say always see the drama for yourself.
You're not the boss of MDL lol, people has the right to love whatever they want, deal with it.
People are free to defend a drama because that is their opinion that they like the drama. It doesn't make sense to try and stop people from defending a drama which they like. All that matters is that people respectfully state their opinion.
nothing special, had to skip a lot of it. not bad tho either. Beginners will really like this. If you're a veteran,…
This statement is completely untrue, I have been watching Korean dramas for 6 -7 years and I think this drama is excellent. This statement is just simply an attempt to belittle people who liked the drama.
Skipping majority will not allow you to see the emotional details, parallels, connections and messages in the drama.
This was an amazing, emotional and beautiful drama. I literally cried twice. I am really confused about MDL commenters idea of a good drama. Every single drama they either find it boring or bad and I am like what is going on? are we even watching the same drama.
I also think that the main leads chemistry was amazing even from the moment they first met. I liked the emotional connection and attachment you see build between them, it is so sweet. I am glad the ratings of this drama increased from what it was before, it even deserves higher than 8.3. I have seen non deep dramas and with shallow plot even get 8.5. So I can't see why this drama that was so emotional, and beautiful and that has deep message why it should be rated lower.
according to their latest poster, they have stated thatPART 1 - Dec 22 2023PAER 2 - Jan 05 2024so you (the site…
I think someone below explained why they made only one page. If I recall correctly someone said that if part 1 and part 2 are airing within a short period of time that they will not make 2 separate pages for the two parts.
For those looking for the usual rom-com, this is probably a good fix.Other than that, this is another lost opportunity.…
I have to respectfully disagree. I do think sometimes people are expecting too much logical essay like explaination to fictional, fun, creative dramas. They can't spend too much time giving a whole explainations on how society is organized and how it functions.
In writing people always say show, don't tell. The simply visual representation of two different time periods is already gives us great explaination of the difference in function of the two societies. Writers also know that us as viewers will also fill in the blanks.
I actually do think they pointed out difference but in their own unique and fun way.
-Details such as difference in shoes, (wedding day) and the difference in how conservativeness in clothing has changed which was shown when FL commented on her wedding dress.
- FL not being able to open the door when chasing after ML. Showing difference in doors and architectural structure.
-FL not being able to open car door. FL not knowing about button in car that rolls down, the window.
-FL seeing Milk as so valuable because back in the day only the king and people of high class had more access to milk.
-FL finding out about how money looks in this era. FL in the taxi with no money thinking she can barter and pay with something valuable such as Milk to pay for taxi ride. Showing difference in payment structures. -FL finding out about bank cards and how you can pay with them.
The list goes on. They showed the difference in society structures but in their own creative way.
Eu suspeito da Yoo Ha Na. Ela parece apaixonada pelo Tae Ha e implicou com a Yeon Woo.
Sorry I don't speak Portuguese, so I just used Google translate, hopefully it translated correctly. That is a plausible theory of the person being Yoon Ha Na, especially with the way the person was behaving with the photographs in episode 6. However, if the person is the same person who was in the carpark when Taeha's car crashed, it seems very unlike the behavior of Ha Na because Ha Na wouldn't want Taeha to be hurt because she is obsessed with him.
Does anyone think that Manager Do is the person who is trying to kill the FL and ML. This is just a random theory, might be completely incorrect.
Manager Do just fits the person's body frame. Even with the blurred shots of the person's face seems like Manager Do face could match. In the recent episode we also saw that the person seemed very obsessed with Yeon Woo. With the photographs being mostly of Yeon Woo. Manager Do also seemed like he liked Yeon Woo, he even said he didn't mind when the other lady was shipping him with Yeon Woo. Just wondering if Manager Do is hiding a more evil obsession' of Yeon Woo.
It's a happy ending. There's some changes in the drama. There's no scene of how grandpa act like in the drama since…
Wow thank you for letting me know. That's a lot of things that is going to happen. I am now wondering how the drama is going to interpret those events.
About sa wol, is she also from joseon, I think I missed their first meeting.
You must have skipped the whole first episode because she was in majority of the first episode 🙂. She comes from Joseon like FL. She is the FL handmaid and bestfriend.
Anyone have theories on who could be the person (person in black clothes) who is trying to kill the main leads?
I can't see someone they have shown us that could be the person. The half brother was at the house with FL when ML crashed in parking lot when the person first showed up.
I would hate to think that it is ML assistant. But he wasn't there at the house when the killer showed up where the ML was. Lee Seok Ju is a possibility, the guy who works at SH. But I am starting to think it is someone we haven't seen yet.
This drama is not perfect and is no way a masterpiece. Some might even say that this drama became a mess but I will say that because people were making the story what it is not there are more dramatic reactions of disappointment. This story was not supposed to be about the villain getting the main girl, it was made clear from the very first episode that Hee Shik was her main love interest as soon as that bell hit the back of his head. But because people were so obsessed with the villain it made people more irritated that the storyline was not going the way they fantasized it to go.
People say Shio carried the show or had more chemistry with Namsoon, but personally I didn't feel the chemistry because it was clear Namsoon was in no way falling for him and was pretending the whole time. To each their own, but I have never been so tired about conversations around a drama before, haha. I have never seen people obsess over a character in a drama to this extent, you would almost think that people have never seen a handsome man in a suit the way people are obsessing over him.
