I think it might be airing more than 3 days a week for at least this week, two more episodes were put today.

They never say their ages but for me I assume FL is 20 or in her early 20s. And the ML I assume maybe 30s like others have said 🙂

I am not going to even bother to discuss with you at all because you clearly just want to be insultive and disrespectful for no reason at all. You are making this more than what it actually is. Remember this just a drama. We can all respectfully disagree. Also it is not illusions the scenes are literally there. If you choose ignore those scenes that is your choice.

We just have to agree to disagree. No one said she was perfect. We all know she is an imperfect character. We are just simply saying that we understand her decision in regards to staying with her family. That is all.

But I do think you are trying to deviate from the obvious showing that the FL does in fact care for her family.

The last two episodes she worked hard to create the business to feed them. Rolled the sleeves of her father and brother while they ate and wiped their faces.

During the split, she had to think of the situation she was currently in. Which was protecting all the women who were there with her. She saved those women multiple times and even delivered a baby.
In war it happens, people have to sometimes focus on the immediate survival and of those around them and if they get the chance they will look for their loved ones. But it doesn't mean they do not care. It also doesn't mean she didn't think of them.
It's ok for people not to agree with everyone opinions. That is what debate is. It doesn't need to be taking so extremely. Especially when people are talking respectfully.

Horrifying? How is it horrifying that people think she should not abandon her family who is struggling for a man. Her sweet father is ill She also has younger siblings. Her heart for her family could not be switched off just for a man. She loves her family dearly, she couldn't bare to part with them. The Ml could have included her family into the plan. But he didn't. We are not saying the FL is perfect but she has grown as a character. And has protected her family from many horrible situations. And she made the best choice that she could have made.

Exactly I was thinking around 19 -21 years old as well. And it's true she had been urged by her maid to get married soon. So she was probably titling past the expected age from society for her to get married.

Just a side comment, I don't think the FL was 15 years old in the beginning. The reason why I say that is when another character who came who was 15-16 years ML said that she was too young and that she should wait many years and get older to be with a man. So I think FL was probably at least many years older than 15, for the ML to be pursuing her. 🙂

I agree, your explanation on women's social status is absolutely true. Historical times were so scary for women. So I hope people can see that GC made the best decision that would assure security and safety for her and her family.

I agree I really hope she doesn't marry Won Moo and she get's just to be in the presence of her wonderful family. Wow 😀I would absolute love that she becomes a girl boss and reunites with Jang Hyun on the same level. I want that to happen 😆.

Exactly 😭 if Jang Hyun included the whole family and assured the well being of Gil Chae's family. He could organized for her to be able to take her whole family with her. That would have been absolute perfect and would have resolved everything. 😭

I have now completed the 10 episodes.

To be honest I do not think there is a straightforward resolution to all the events that occurred in the last 2 episodes.

One thing I do not understand is the full blame of the FL. She made the best decision that she could. Who would leave their ill and sweet father for a romance. Who would leave their family who is struggling to survive just for a romance. Gil Chae is the head of the family. She is the one who got them out of almost starving to death. She cannot switch off her heart for her family just for a man.

I do also have to say that Jang Hyun approached the situation very selfishly. He did not think about how much Gil Chae is sacrificing to leave with him. He did not even think about how her family would cope without her there.

With all that being said, I still did not want her to be with the other man Won Moo. He is not her soulmate. Their marriage will be loveless and just simply security.

The situation was already too knotted for there not to be some sort of loss in any decision. All could have been resolved if Gil Chae simply was not engaged. And the center of that issue was because of the lie of Jang Hyun's death. If that didn't occur none of these issues would have happened. Gil Chae was rejecting Won Moo before multiple times but when Ryang Eum lied about Jang Hyun's death, that is what pushed her to get engaged and move on. She had no reason to question Ryang Eum statement. Because Ryang Eum was close to Jang Hyun.

I feel sorry for Ryang Eum unreciprocated love for Jang Hyun. However, what he did was very mean. And I fear that he is going to do worse. Through out the series, the stares that he gave Gil Chae were filled with so much coldness. Then now the look at the end of episode 10. I fear he is going to try get Gil Chae in harms way or even killed. I really do think he might be the person at the beginning of episode 1 who is still longing for Jang Hyun to come and get him.

Even with the pure painful heartbreak of the last episode, it still had me fully invested. I am very curious about what direction part 2 will take. Also I have no interested in the new lady's romance with Jang Hyun I hope their relationship crashes and burns.

Yeah unfortunately Viki nowadays puts Viki pass on almost everything. Yeah Mango tv is known to always struggle with subs. They have great shows but subs aren't good.

It's not meant to be realistic. It's supposed to be a light hearted rom com.

Thank you for your help and thanks for answering my question. I agree they are two completely different vibes. I keep changing my mind but I think I might stick to season 2. I watched 2 episodes of season 1so have a little of background knowledge. So hopefully that will be enough 😁.

Haha, maybe I should go back to season 1. Then I'll come back to season 2.
