Anyone who thinks like that are sick and it's not asians fault if lots of these westerners are just asshol3s fetishizers with inferiority complex. There are mature stories out there, I'm not a fan of childish and naive characters, but still audiences (especially east & sea asians) favors characters like that for romantic comedy series and producers do dramas that's on demand. And not all dramas needs to be based on real life or how normal people acts lol. It's all made purely for entertainment a form of escapism and not to represent asian women. If you think or westerners perceiving Asians like that then it's your problem, none of asian males perceives and makes comments like this about asian women, it's always non-asians. It's not their fault if none Asians are narrow and sick minded.

What's so wrong in pairing him with older actress??? Besides, even if he's paired with actress on his age, it's still not sure if the actress can match his performance and vibes like how the older FLs did who worked with him in the past.

Not really, cause still a lot of big budget dramas still prefers established actresses than rookie ones. Maybe you mistook some of popular dramas nowadays? Cause I see a lot of popular dramas now are usually cast with rookie actress for FL roles and they also tend to get attention because of the younger audiences. I can't think of any rookie actresses who got FL roles in high budget series.

Yes you should check this out. The leads doesn't look awkward together and WXY really ate being Duke Su 😭🙌 plus the drama is focus on the FL's revenge rather than romance.
Though the romance is there throughout the series, they did it so well that they don't have to do those typical cringey lines and their development is pretty funny to watch.

It's really sad I didn't know he got so much haters for dumb reason. He's still a rising actor :( but anyways he's starting to finally get the popularity he deserves, he's legit a talented actor so it's no surprise that he gets more hate now that he's also gaining fans

It's like this, due to his closeness to the emperor, his job and his methods of chasing and exposing corrupt officials, he gained a reputation of being brutal, intimidating, arrogant and unpredictable. It made a lot of people scared of him and also that's somehow what he wanted to be in the public's eye, plus he doesn't get involved if it's not part of his job or he doesn't have gains, he usually has ulterior motives for most of his actions.

But inside and with the people who know him personally, he's very loyal and trustworthy. And to FL, she's his top priority. He protects her and her family. He trusts and believes in her, he's always there to help her without forcing his ideas on her.

So he's not generally nice, although there are reasons for his actions he still can't be considered as nice. He's scary in public's eyes but behind he's very sincere and the people who knew him on a deeper level know that he's not really like his reputation.

For real, they should've at least made her college or 20s and not highschool. They're supposed to be romantic but they ended up looking like sugar daddy and sugar baby rs 😭😭😭

I'm also not a fan of casting big age gaps. If ML is older it gives creepy vibes and if FL is older they would end up looking like aunt or big sister. It's usually awkward to watch lol.

I like few pairings that have big age gaps since they performed so well but it's rare especially if FL is paired with younger ML.

I'm really shocked on WJY and WXY chemistry it's really unmatched. I forgot WXY is only on his early 20s and he can match WJY's vibes!! He's so manly and mature!!! And TBH they are the only pairing with big age gaps I would love to see again in another series.

1. There's no really specific episode for that, ML had been following the FL when she started her revenge plot. They are together a lot of times and they just started flirting casually then they get serious and started acting like couple since they're aware they're in love with each other lol I can't really explain it cause the process is so funny. Though in episode 34 they had proper conversation and they admit having feelings already, but before that they had already been acting like married couple haha

2. Episode 34 is where they first kiss and it really intimate.

3. There's no breakup but ML needed to go far from FL few times due for his missions. They also never had misunderstandings since they're both matured to real talk each other.

4. I consider it slow burn but not the usual slow burn that's really slow lol they just started flirting casually then later on decided to stay together

5. Like I said there's not really specific episode for that. But ML is the 1st one to like her and the FL fell for him later on, the ML is the 1st one who started flirting or hunting the FL then the FL started just getting jealous and after that they started flirting and treating each other like romantically without confession. It happened later on only when they are already romantically involved. It's just like a form of love affirmations not really a confession.

I CAN TALK ABOUT THIS DRAMA FOREVER AND I COULD WATCH DUKE SU AND XUE FANGFEI FLIRTING FOREVER!!! 😭💗 I HAVE NEVER BEEN THIS OBSESSED IN ANY CDRAMA HUHUHU!!! I DON'T THINK I CAN EVER RECOVER FROM THIS MAYBE IF THEY BECOME MAIN LEADS AGAIN IN ANOTHER SERIES 😭🙌
