But don't you think she's doing the same thing by choosing the demon world over him? i have a couple of questions, dont mind spoilers, why are there so many people disappointed with this drama , was it a bad adaptation ? it has a sad ending ? Since i did not read the novels i dont thinks its going to bother me if is different, cuz i would not know

Did Pei Ji Ya got caught as a dark cultivator yet ? I'm on episode 15, but the addition of a stalker, and one as obsessive as or even more obsessive than Wu Zi Shu, gave me a little cringe, has stressed me out. Supposedly, his “Daoist arts are unmatched, making him an invaluable ally to Wu Zhen,” but so far, in 14 episodes, she is the one who has carried the entire burden. I'm not complaining about her, but I feel like the ML is more of a decorative character, who supposedly has a lot of power and potential, but they only use him for the FML's romantic interest.

One of the thoughts I've had most often during this drama is, “I'm sure MZY knows what's going on.” Then everything is resolved, and he never knew what happened.

the acting has been good thought, i think the problem is the storyline, ML needs to be more involved, like right now

He always suspects that something is going on, but so far in 14 episodes, he has been outside the core of the problems and their solutions. He will probably improve from now on, as he has started to get involved and show his potential, but so far, he has been pretty average, not bad, just average, Oh, and if you want to compare him to other humans, there are too many to count. There's Wei Wu Xian and Lan Wang Ji, both Taoists, one extroverted and one introverted and quiet, but both of them could control the situation when they intervened, and they were always in the loop, as far as possible. except for major plot problems.
