I may not be as invested in the 2nd couple triangle but even Park Bo Young mentioned that the 2nd couple had an interesting love story. She mentioned this in one of the cast interviews. I actually liked the scene where Ji Na found out about Tak Dong's illness. Very realistic and we can see how Joo Ik showed how much he cared about her welfare as he worried over her. As for Hyun Gu - I am not sure whether you can turn back time or is it that Ji Na needs to figure out if that relationship is truly over or are her emotions the lingering ones from an improper breakup.
Ep 7 - We are not yet hitting full tragedy and I am already crying like mad. This does not bode well. The Deity is an interesting character, that I agree. It's like she is trying to have Doom fight for what is precious - which is love. He seemed so defeated in this episode. Again for those who don't think it's their cup of tea, thank you for dropping it. Not nice having actual doom and misery shared all around.
I am sticking with this. Back in Goblin days there was this bru-ha-ha about the main leads and the 2nd leads. Whoever had the more interesting loveline. To each his own. I am going to appreciate the drama in my own way. Those who support the 2nd loveline - Great for you. Those who support the main loveline - Great for you too. Let's move on.
OMG. The epilogue for the latest episode is a must watch. I watched Memories of Murder and followed the truth about the Hwaseong Serial Murders. I am all for abolishing the statute of limitations for the guilty and the people who fabricated evidence. And in addition the falsely accused. They lost years of their lives ......and worse than that....their families.
Lol.... I was literally like 'Nam Da Reum'! The Young Prince who wants to be an idol. Haha. But seriously, I am waiting for him to transition into lead roles and not younger versions of the male leads.
Story to me is moving fast. And the ending of Ep 6 is really making me look forward to what will happen in the next subsequent episodes. It has to be meaty enough to reach 16 episodes. Seeing it is preproduced (?), at least the story is set and not up to whims of PDs or what-nots who may meddle with the story while it is being shot.
I haven't watched Ep 6 yet but I am wondering if this will be Goblin level pain (you know what I am talking about with Eun Tak and her I must remember) I still cry at that scene today.
I like that it is an original script so no one can guess where the storyline is going. MM was cruel in the previous episode to prove that he is NOT compassionate. Kinda like a kid pulling the pigtails of the girl that he 'dislikes' But he still felt at least anger in that scene with the serial killer in the hospital. Brutal end.
Don't mind the ratings so much. Watch at least 4 episodes to find out if it's to your taste. I am experiencing the problem of too many characters. I want to focus on the two main leads but we have the little girl, the teacher, the two policemen/ex colleagues, the serial killer, the shaman, the cult leader.... too many!
Gah. Crying like mad. To me, that was unexpected. It's true victims don't care about the perpetrators. When sentences get reduced, victims feel more victimised as it was difficult enough to convict in the first place. SIGH. I see a change soon. Maybe somehow Blue Bird and prosecution can work together....
5 episodes in and I remain confused. New mysteries pop up every episode. Hopefully they tackle some issues soon, We now have a few arcs - school, hospital, pregnant lady, Jin Seok, Shaman lady, doctor and grandmother, director of school, smoke or cult.
I like how it shows that Myul Mang is not all good, like he claims. How he keeps that multiple murders guy alive even after he tries to commit suicide. To die is a release, to live on with voices in your head would be torture. Like what MM experiences every day, 24/7.
Side note: I like how they met in the first Ep. He is Doom so he is tired of humans because he has probably seen the worst of humanity. He doesn't necessary cause humans death (as seen from the scene in the first episode at the hospital) I don't feel rushed but anticipating how Doom can see beauty in life and humans but there's tragedy around the corner.
One of the few times I didn't wait until 4 episodes in before I started watching. And from Ep 1, it is already intriguing! I am sure Ep 2 will be the introduction of the secondary characters too and the love triangle happens there.
From Ep 1 you already know Kang Ha Na is not going to give up. I am starting to see the conflict between Rainbow and Loan Shark becoming more interesting than the Prosecutor -Rainbow arc. The Loan Shark godmother. I wouldn't want to be owing her anything....
For some, you have arrived at your destination and are welcomed to drop the drama.
Looking forward to how they resolve this.

Might just check out what happens in the final episode.
