That affair partner is definitely stella or maybe his mom 😳
Pretty much Ju Nik is a traitor, because his other woman is the one who is procuring all materials to build something the North shouldn't. But if it is true that the sub doesn't exist, then the materials were just to build a case for war when the materials were not even for that purpose. I have a feeling we will see more of the North Korean president in the next episodes. Countdown to war T minus - 12 hours
To be clear ... 1. Secret family - check 2. San Ho is no longer on anyone's payroll except Mun Ju. So he is really protecting her without sneaky ulterior motives (which the others don't know about) 3. Makes me wonder if Ju Nik's mom knew about the secret family or he kept them really well hidden. 4. Literally, no one trusts one another. SIGH. The world of politics. I hope that people take this as a drama which does highlight real world concerns. Heck, what peace is there out there. The classic 'the enemy of my enemy is my friend' It's interesting to see the geopolitics in action - who meets who and who doesn't meet who can signal your importance in the hierarchy of politics.
Tell me more about those peaches! I think it amplified the regret as they were supposed to have the peaches after his (Ju Nik) big reveal in church. P.S. Doesn't this mean there is a mole in his organisation/campaign? And from the look of things, his own brother was involved in the assassination???
I don't think it's gonna be a BE, most likely open ending, kind of she is a president and he is observing from…
If she does become president, I honestly think that he cannot remain in her life. Unless it is an ending where the North and South are truly united (through their marriage) 😬#utopianending
PSA. If you see someone posts things other than the drama, just block them. Saves you and your blood pressure. It is literally written above about the do and don'ts on this site. 🤦
When you see people who have newly joined just to throw dirt on the drama. Regardless, I am anticipating the next episodes. PS. I was hoping for more discussion about the drama itself, who is the person who hired Valkyrie , did her husband Ju Nik have a failsafe because he knew that things are coming to a head. And those peaches! What is the symbolism??
I am enjoying the drama but not the MDL drama. Time to go on a blocking spree. Anyway, after Ep 3 - I am just gearing my heart for all the close shave situations that Mun Ju will be in because of what she plans to do if she wins. Her speech when she announced her candidacy. Really a triple axel. She spoke to the people, about the people and for the people. PS. I know this is a drama so please let's just enjoy the show. If it goes against your personal or political ideology, maybe give this drama a miss.
Kang Dong-won always has that haunting, melancholy aura in his roles.. and those eyes of his, carry this deep…
If you watch Temptation of Wolves... never fails to make me cry each time I watch it. And he is the embodiment of 'melancholy eyes' . Watch Duelist too....
This is not really good. All cases tie up to a bigger dramatic case (as per usual with most dramas) but the story goes like ' ah, discovered, then die, more deaths, suspected link to threats to the throne (as per usual) Connections are pretty far-fetched too. I thought the first three cases were interesting but then.....it just sort of slid... Supporting actors are really raw, although the main leads are doing well.
Some viewers may think the pacing is slow - but I like how we can actually see how they would both fall for each other. For Cheng Ao - when she pointed that knife at him, and for her later on, when she saw that he was not a bad person after all - definitely when he went to help out at the shantytown.
You do know we can block you and not see your posts, right?

This is based purely on Ep 4....now on to Ep 5!

I am totally invested in where this story is going...
After Ep 2
The emotional elements are there.
The story buildup is there.
After watching Ep 1..... on to the rest!
