That's what I like about WS (both in novel and drama). Once he falls, there is not turning to others. His jealousy does worry me at times. LOL

After watching the episodes, I like the flow of the drama. In the novel, I couldn't see how she could fall in love with him (because of his actions and suspicions). However in the drama, with the little things he does for her, and how he is so regretful of his actions, the possibility of love is higher.

Yes... and how the whole scheme unravelled was classic. I just don't know if I can stand her character, scheming, using her past ties with WS to guilt him into being lenient with her and using her beauty to manipulate men. Seeing some names of the characters from the novel, it looks like they will keep this part.

I think if this scene already turns you off the drama, better not read the novel then. History was brutal for women and men. I think in real life during those times, things would not have gone the way of the drama and things would have been worse.

She was despicable in the novel. I still think she is scheming to get more power and that mask is spot on in the novel too. So she must have angered WS enough for her nose to be cut off but not sure if it will be for the same reason.

It's kind of good that they didn't follow Wei Shao's character to a T in the drama. I can guarantee that there would be lots of people who would hate on him and what he does to ManMan. LYN's version is very very very restrained.

Over 160 chapters. Going to be pretty difficult to fit all the scenes in. Su E Huang will be a bigger problem than that female cousin.

This is actually not bad. In a dark room, watching Episode 1, I can feel the creeps.

I feel that they had cut some scenes to fit into 30 episodes. Sigh. If only there was an unabridged version....

This is not a clear cut ending like Blossom where the male lead is cured of poison. I will take it that Yun Xi lives and loves happily with Han Yan and A-Zi. It doesn't matter which 'side' he is on.

You know this drama is good when they have a date in the prison itself. HAHAHA. (When the ML brought her to the prison to 'question' her)

Weird that the final episode has not dropped... Netflix!

Anyone has a spoiler for Ep10. I swear it is so frustrating how not smart AARO are.....

If the first four episodes doesn't hold your interest, it is unlikely to.
From the 1st episode for this drama, I was already invested. Even though I don't really like 're-birth' plots.

Ok. The story is too good! Glad to see Li Yun Rui as the lead!
