I think what is a bit annoying is yes FL lied its wrong, but the industry should also be held to account too and change. Recruitment should be based on qualifications not family. The fact the recruiter told her she had to lie about family background and others do it too, as the companies never do a background check. So she is not the only one who lies about this, yes its wrong, it's unfortunate that the Shens liked her and decided to use that against her indoor to have her in their family. Girl was just trying to live and do an interview. Hope the drama does do a quick highlight of the problem of equality in that industry.

I think she walked in when he was looking for someone like her, but he never intended to love her, and he is treating her like a contract wife right now, he should have got one to make his life easier. I don't get having dirt on someone and think you can threaten them to act all loving. Get a real contract wife so much better.

Fang Lei is explosive, wouldn't work. In XY's industry most of them lie about family background, so there would be more ladies up and coming who actually want that family backing he offers. That would be a proper win win situation. He is treating XY like a contract wife right now, no affection, sleeping separate sides so he can do a life long or agree a term. Since its a contract with each one to gain something its more secure. Right now his heading to a divorce so his strategy was definitely not the right one for his needs.

I don’t think he was looking for love when she came into his life. She just happened to be looking for an interview and he was on the hunt for someone , like Fang Lei explained. If he had been honest she would not have been with him, as that’s not the relationship XY wants. So their purposes were not in alignment. With a contract he would have someone in alignment.
Yes now they have connection, but if he would have been honest at the beginning she would have said no.

I think he could have had the relationship he wants with someone else who would enter a contract marriage with clear requirements of the marriage.
