I think Zhao Lusi would have been perfect for this role, she does comedy well. But that doesn't take away from Wang Ying Lu. Loving her in this role. I like both actresses, first time seeing Wang Ying Lu. She is good too, hope she gets more lead roles.

There is more than one villain. Each villain is revealed at different stages of the drama and dealt with at different stages.

Honestly if you don’t find XZ’s acting outstanding when you only have a few more episodes to go, I don’t think you are going to change your mind.
For me he completely nailed this role from beginning to end. His micro expressions, his chemistry with all the characters, there are some scenes that I just said “wow”. I think he deserves an award for this role.

I like how they both move on with their lives, tired of those dramas that are written that one lead hasn’t dated for 10yrs waiting for that one person it’s so unrealistic.

I am curious how they going to get together though they have so much chemistry.

Army personnel do get slaughtered in these type of dramas not unique to this drama. Unfortunately it also happens in real life, army is sent to fight these politician's wars.

Well hope you hold the same standards for yourself. You will marry your one girl that u decide u like and hold out even if she says no she doesn’t want to date you, you will stalk her until she says yes. You are not to move on with your life.
You don’t want the plot, it’s real life, you dont want reality. People don’t know who they are meant to be with so why can’t they date other people especially since they are single. You know ML is ML, she doesn’t know that. This is life. Unless you live in a place that does arranged marriage . I would rather this FL any day than one who chases an abusive man.

They had the plan together to pretend to be her boyfriend. The kiss wasn’t planned, she wasn’t planning to do that it just happened she to go a step further to convince the guy she was breaking up with, when he made a spectacle of his declaration.
She actually tried to stop that fight, they were not listening. She explained but they refused to listen to her.
So what if he was calling, they didn’t arrange for him to call at that time is she supposed to keep her phone on her at all times waiting for a guy who she had an argument with to call her, they agreed not to interfere with each other’s lives ? She can totally live, and move on with her life she is not dating ML.

This is actually good. Weird that people calling FL names. I think some people have this weird expectation of women, they want FLs who centers their whole entire life around one guy, a guy who has refused to be in a relationship with her. Just because we know who ML is doesn’t mean she knows who the ML is, she doesn’t have to stop her life for guy who said no to her, she can explore other options, she doesn’t have to pause her life and wait for him to call, that is normal life. I would rather this FL than the one in Game of Succession who chasing around an abusive man.
