Ok at the beginning of episode 8 looks like they are actually brother and sister, it's getting incestuous for me to keep watching. If they confirm otherwise in later episodes please respond to my comment which episode then I can continue watching. I couldn't even finish ep 8.

Yes they are both playing games. I think for her there really isn’t bad intentions. She has to please the in-laws. She explains herself how she will do anything to protect this love, she had a terrible childhood and met this guy who in her head seems to just love her, but who actually manipulated their first meeting and everything for her to fall for him. She is still a nice person who even refuses the privileges that come with being a part of that family to boost her career. I wonder what his angle is. It’s super interesting drama.
I think this is a rebirth story. They always start like this swearing to get revenge after death
The “sister” does die later on. So the drama starts with the blind girl dying, but then it does like a flashback, a few episodes of the background story. The background story before the jump shows us what lead the blind girl to jump and why the sister’s soul ends up in that body after the jump.

Rich people also lie too and are opportunistic. There really shouldn’t be a double standard on who should be allowed to get away with it. And more moral expectations put on poor people those trying to survive. Rich people are not morally better. Like you say it’s just human nature. We don’t know how his family got rich as they are not the focus. Her boyfriend was talking about how she could use his family backing like the other host does, so we already know the unequal playing field set. I am not saying her lying is good I am just saying it’s ironic how rich people want to protect themselves yet they are no better really, they play those same lying and opportunistic games.

Episode 4, I was crying!!! No redemption arc for the parents!!!!! Forgetting her in the house, the hospital scene and her birthday wow. I seriously don't care for the sister too, she is older she must have seen the treatment her sister was getting but all she says, I know you didn't get on??? I can change my mind about her, if I see any flashbacks of her speaking up for her sister to her parents.
Across all dramas ever, I think this is my ML. He is emotionally intelligent, home trained( makes pastries) and appears when u in danger. He is so 🔥🔥🔥🔥

They didn’t send people just to serve him out of the goodness of their heart. They all had a mission to have his babies and kill him or continue to seal him. All they want is his blood. Imprisoning someone for 500 years, he didn’t even the ability to kill himself, lived with physical piercing pain, sending him women to sleep with does not make you an innocent party. I honestly do not see anything innocent about the people he killed.
I like FL, but her weak spot is Ruling . She actually hasn’t even taken the time to know her as a person, but she already sees her as a bff. They have been hanging out but she hasn’t asked Ruling any deep questions to trust her like she does. I wish they made this part more believable as a modern day person, who watched movies and dealt with office politics , I don’t think she should be this trusting in a new world full of everyone and their mother trying to kill someone. At least get to actually know Ruling as a person to gauge whether her support has been real or performative. She also advised snake to take on Ruling as master, I knew that would be trouble. With this part they went the traditional Xianxia way, of FL being like an innocent, pure, trusting person who just turned into human form with no experience of life or something lol.
