I was frustrated sometimes with the script and story repetition.
However this is still an enjoyable watch and Yeo Jin Goo's expression range is impressive! He and the FL worked really well together and made for comfortable chemistry. I wouldn't mind seeing them paired in another project.
i know i am just at ep3 but a lot has happened.are we going to meet decent and i dunno, normal characters?? o.o
Actually I think a slightly higher level of messed upped characters are in this than usual. But the normies use logic and perseverance to balance it out.
It felt like watching a live action anime with the styling and action. Obviously silly, cheese fun but I enjoyed it! My son loved that all his favorite kaijus had little appearances.
What time period were they modeling the styles for? I know variations for Song and Tang are popular for historical fiction but this felt different. The student uniforms threw me off. Please excuse my ignorance of dynasy differences!
This was fun! Biggest draw for me was Zuo Ye. He has impressed me in everything I have seen him in and he is so young! I can only imagine how his career will grow with time.

But the cast definitely had a blast making this and I loved their little mob family! Had fun watching this with you all!
