LJ's obsession is to protect JL and JL is still alive. As it was shown, he can sense JL so in time he will find him, I'm sure. Even if he doesn't remember he feels the pull like when they first met in Shilin sect.

I understood "universe" in the sense that doesn't matter death/rebirth/changing future we are destined.

It was never shown that they could hop universes, they can only travel in a linear line so idk why it is a popular theory they are in a different universe. The leaked script confirms that JL remembers ( so he is our JL for sure) it is just - and it is my opinion - he decided to live a normal life with LWY in a small town. They are in a changed future for sure but the same universe as the others.

He must exist. He only traveled 50 years back while he became fake CW around 150 years ago. So my theory is he found WSG earlier than the og timeline (because he now knew who he was) and then quit being fake CW. He'd dropped LWY in some far away quiet village when exited the time rift and followed her when he gave WSG his DD position back. LJ feels that he is missing someone, he feels JL and I'm sure he will find him because he is being pulled towards him.

I'm kind of obsessed with Tian Jiarui. The man had to play so many characters and he played them spectacularly, like you could actually tell them apart.

I lowkey think this drama was written as a vehicle for TJR to show off his talent. Of course I'm speaking for myself here ( and I am a simp for Ji Ling) but his character got the best writing. Others had some great moments too but his powers, his looks, his characters were all memorable. And his aura farming omg those scenes are legendary!

I think so too. And if I may take things a bit further, they might even reconnect with WSG and WWY. Both WSG and JL remember, there is an existing friendship between them plus LWY still is WWY's heart. All of them are connected some way so I don't think the team has disbanded for good.

This is how I understood the ending too. JL and LWY are in the same universe as the others but living quietly in some distant town. LJ will probably find JL because he is being pulled towards him.

Is it possible that JL waited for WSG to appear and then dipped? He didn't universe hop, right? Even though the ending credit said that, it was never shown that they can travel universes too.

I'm confused. How did JL forget everything if he only taveled back 50 years? Or does he still have his memories? Hmm

I don't think Ji Ling remembers, sadly. I was hoping he would share his memories because he had powers so he could wifi it to Lu Wuyi but yeah.. he seemed clueless.

It was a bittersweet ending for me because I despise mind wipes. You lose the character essentially because memories make us who we are. They never went through all those hardships and sweet moments alas they are at least alive I guess.

I had a great time watching this drama and I discovered TJR's charm and acting skills so that is always a plus. Will miss all the aura farming and cool power scenes. See you all!

First I was confused (that was the intent I assume) but he really pulled the strings together by the end of today's episode. I kept having questions that got answered a few minutes later. Quite consistent writing as far I can tell. I hope it continues to be thought out.

The writing is crazy! CRAZY! I just binged ep 19-23 and I am so glad I waited to collect some episodes to watch back to back because the twists and turns, let me tell you.. I went from "oh no Wuyi, whyyyy? I can't ship this anymore" to "let's go queen, what a shiiiip" in a span of like 2 hours.

I don't know what's gonna happen and that is what I love to see! If someone told me after the first batch of episodes that this is where to story is going in 20 episodes I would have said you are bullshitting.

(Still madly simping for Ji Ling, he entirely broke me. He might not be a real dragon but his aura and heart fully are)

TJR really knocked it out of the park in today's episode. The man can act! Watching him in this drama is the highlight of my day these days. What a pleasure to see him on screen after a tiring day of work.

We can add another Longshen aura farming moment to the compilation hehe Loved his white outfit, the patterns looked so intricate, definitely made the aura farming more efficient.

That chanting ost, are they saying gibberish or does it actually have a meaning? I always wonder when that music pops up. Anyhow, it is really epic, can't wait until they release it.

Give me an open ending over a sad one any day. I'm still holding on to the hope that we are getting a somewhat happy ending. Key word is on somewhat because it is GJM.

The way I am behaving every time LS stands in front of LWY to protect her is quite honestly embarrassing in my age but.. it is what it is.

He is magnetic for sure! I also find his love story with Lu Wuyi interesting so that adds another layer to why I keep watching.
