First I was confused (that was the intent I assume) but he really pulled the strings together by the end of today's episode. I kept having questions that got answered a few minutes later. Quite consistent writing as far I can tell. I hope it continues to be thought out.

The writing is crazy! CRAZY! I just binged ep 19-23 and I am so glad I waited to collect some episodes to watch back to back because the twists and turns, let me tell you.. I went from "oh no Wuyi, whyyyy? I can't ship this anymore" to "let's go queen, what a shiiiip" in a span of like 2 hours.

I don't know what's gonna happen and that is what I love to see! If someone told me after the first batch of episodes that this is where to story is going in 20 episodes I would have said you are bullshitting.

(Still madly simping for Ji Ling, he entirely broke me. He might not be a real dragon but his aura and heart fully are)

TJR really knocked it out of the park in today's episode. The man can act! Watching him in this drama is the highlight of my day these days. What a pleasure to see him on screen after a tiring day of work.

We can add another Longshen aura farming moment to the compilation hehe Loved his white outfit, the patterns looked so intricate, definitely made the aura farming more efficient.

That chanting ost, are they saying gibberish or does it actually have a meaning? I always wonder when that music pops up. Anyhow, it is really epic, can't wait until they release it.

He is magnetic for sure! I also find his love story with Lu Wuyi interesting so that adds another layer to why I keep watching.

I'm kind of obsessed with TJR as the dragon deity. His beauty really comes out when he is playing a cold person.

I think it is really important in life to learn to take criticism. It is okay if others don't like what you do and vice versa. I personally like to read negative reviews because most of the time it is more informative than positive comments who rave and don't say anything constructive.

MDL should crack down on users who curse or bully others. It feels like the site is suddenly full of teens or people who are mentally stuck at that age. Idk what happened but it is intolerable at this point. Anyways, reported and blocked.

CFY imo is a fantastic actor, he was amazing in When destiny brings the demon and his chemistry with the FL was top notch. Other than some scenes in LBTG, I do feel he is lacking. It might be the directing and/or the writing. Yeah, probably both.

I'm with you on this one. I was so excited after episode 8 and 9 but something is missing. Even though there is a lot of romantic scenes, I feel nothing for these two. I'm giving it a few more episodes but if it stays this dull, I am dropping it.

I absolutely adored CFY in When destiny brings the demon and I was wondering why I was not satisfied with his acting in this drama. Hohh boy, was I glad when episode 8 rolled around and he was flexing that talent. I still think he is better as Sima Jiao but we will see later, hopefully we are getting into the part that is more complex character wise and he can show different kinds of emotions. His eyes are so expressive. I am just simping now ok bye.

ZLH didn't dub himself, right? Anyhow, I really like the way he talks, it is quite soft.

Pretty great adaptation, I was hoping for the best because I enjoyed the book and they came through yay! The main characters kept their essence but got a little more tender. Great chemistry between the leads, both are super attractive.

We never actually get to see him sell shoes, the future of that endevour is still in question. The helmet arc ended with a ton of them getting damaged and him losing the office. That is not a win. Haven't seen what happens with the gloves, I decided to wait for all the episodes to finish airing.

I like this drama but the problem is that our mains barely get a win. The bad guys keep having the upper hand and for 10+ episodes it is getting discouraging. When you think it can't get worse for our leads, it can. You have to give them a big win sometimes.
