I have to take this off my chest. If you find this comment uncomfortable, please ignore.During watching s1, I…
I LITERALLY wrote this about Mudeok 2 days ago to someone. She doesn't look in love, I'm not even sorry to say this, she looks annoyed and angry all 20 episodes. Not sure if it is directing or acting problem but towards the end it really put me off the drama, it was hard to continue to watch. Only finished it for Uk and LJW's performance.
I was on episode 7 of season 1 and then I put it on hold. Can I skip the first season and just watch season 2…
I mean you can, season 2 is kind of a reset, especially when it comes to the romance part of the story. You probably won't understand everything though, but if you really want to skip to S2, then do it. I love S2 so it would be a waste to not give it a chance, don't listen to butthurt people.
Death is not redemption. So, I would say she should have survived.
That is what I've been saying for years. Writers are so hellbent on killing their characters who did bad things, it is so stupid. Death is rarely the answer, staying alive and repenting means more.
I don't care for that kind of ending. Sounds dumb. And there are lots of other people in this drama who did many…
CP is neck deep in remorse, he genuinely hates what he did, he is basically a shadow of his S1 self. He is miserable. I don't think Jin Mu is happy, his plans are getting axed by Uk but he is our main baddie, he is gonna get what he deserves in the finale. Mama Jin lost her husband and the same daughter twice. Safe to say, she is miserable too.
I'm only suggesting that it could end that way, isn't this place for discussions? Obviously I would prefer a happy end but knowing Korean dramas and especially wuxia dramas that AOS is basically a hybrid of, even the purest soul rarely gets a happy ending. S1 started with us getting to know that Naksu killed many innocent mages, I don't care if she was used by Jin Mu, she did it with her own hands and according to drama logic, it means you are f*cked. I'm still hoping though.

Other than Jin Mu, everyone is miserable in this drama, who is happy? And btw be a little more sensitive when you accuse people of not knowing stuff. My family is prone to dementia, so yes, I know.
Potentially we could get a "50 first dates" type of ending where Cho Yeong's memories keep getting erased when she starts to remember so the body doesn't reject her. Knowing Korean dramas, she killed too many innocent people to get a perfectly happy ending. She never gets to be her real self but she is alive and falls in love with Uk every time, so it is bittersweet. I would be okay with this ending, way better scenario than her or both her and UK dying. Anyway, probably it won't end this way but it was my first thought when I realized why Master Lee had to erase her memories.
Hey alchemists! :D Please check out my Jang Uk/Buyeon fmv. Youtube hates me so I have to promote it myself. Every view is appreciated. https://youtu.be/ZCf0Kc6qyiY
I'm just gonna say, I don't think he hallucinated Mudeok when he kissed Buyeon. If the writers wanted to play that card, Uk would have kissed her after the hug when he was drunk. He woke up to Buyeon caressing his face and it got to him, his heart melted. He might regret it the morning but the kiss was for Buyeon.
Yul and Naksu scenes are so awkward. I'm okay with their friendship but just don't give romantic vibes. Yesterday…
I think Yul just sees her as a friend's future wife. Now that Uk is betrothed to her, she is officially off the table. Yeah, she reminds him of Naksu but he will try to protect her as a friend. He is already expecting to die by the worm anyway. He will be happy when he knows Naksu is alive for sure but that is it. Their whole romance got a proper ending previous season.
The romance is sooooo good! Uk lighting up the path for Buyeon.. I am trying not to scream!!
This version of Naksu is absolutely adorable and lovely. I love to see Uk getting all shaken up by her. He is trying so hard not to care but he is already half in love with her. I am so happy Uk finally let Mudeok go and starting to embrace the warmth that Buyeon gives him. Little does he know, he is attracted to the same soul again.
I loved this episode but Uk and Naksu didn't have many scenes together and it seems that it will be the same in…
I think so too. I don't think after what Buyeon did to Jang Uk he wants her in his sight. Will probably share a few scenes though, at least the start of episode 4 and the end. That said, they HAVE to become closer and closer until Uk falls in love and finds out the truth otherwise it is wasted time and potential so who knows, the trailer might be misleading.
i think he'll fall for her first before he learns she's naksu. this show is about souls and, thus, connection…
Only this would make sense to me, especially after Park Jin's speech to Uk. He has to let Mudeok go first before finding out she is alive otherwise the whole marrying Buyeon and her starting to shake his heart plot would be wasted. Him falling for the same soul twice is where the romance at.
There is something beautiful about falling in love with someone new after losing the love of your life. It feels like Uk has a second chance at love but how amazing he is falling for the same soul again? You can see him getting more vulnerable the more he is with Naksu. She is touching his heart.
Season 2 is so far way better than expected and the chemistry is top notch. GYJ is playing the innocent but smart girl so effortlessly. She is not too cutesy or innocent, she feels natural. No wonder Uk is smitten.
Hey guys, click on my Payu x Rain edit to Unholy if you have some time. It's gotten stuck in the YT gutter because of age restriction :S A click and if you found it good, a like would mean a lot. Thanks :) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PK-AiDP1654
Hey guys, please check out my fmv to Unholy. It got age restricted so it doesn't really show up to anyone now. Every single view counts to get this out of YT purgatory. I would be really thankful if you clicked on it :) https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PK-AiDP1654
And after all that, I wish she did eventually did become the Moon Queen.. They looked so good together walking…
I didn't know about the tweets, thanks for telling me :) I don't think DFQC would give up his throne just like that, the lil bro is waiting for him too. They are just on their well deserved thousands of years of honeymoon :3

I think she becomes the Moon Queen eventually. Little bro was waiting for DFQC to come back so he could give his throne back. The other thing is, their union sends a message between the two races. They can live together and even love each other, no need for war.
I don't think Jin Mu is happy, his plans are getting axed by Uk but he is our main baddie, he is gonna get what he deserves in the finale.
