yes. Sometimes I really feel that way. The male lead is incredibly decisive, firm, and has outstanding leadership qualities. he’s the perfect candidate to be emperor. If a weak person were to take the throne, the entire kingdom would eventually crumble. That’s why it’s better for the main couple to become emperor and empress together, so they can build a strong, harmonious nation with loyal ministers and good, decent citizens, free from toxicity and full of peace.

He’s already killed so many people. He even tried to kill the female lead (but failed). He set up death camps where orphans were tortured then pretended to be their savior so those children would become utterly devoted and loyal to him out of gratitude. Many kids in those camps died. He was even willing to sacrifice thousands of civilians in his conspiracy with the masked man (the Battle of Pingling). He’s a truly evil villain. Isn’t all the killing enough already?

that betrayal drama isn’t even over yet. I just watched the trailer for episode 32. Feng Suige gets saved but loses his memory. And then that old man in white teams up with that woman to try to kill him. AGAINN… He just barely recovered from almost dying, and now they’re trying to kill him again? this is brutal and I’m gonna lose it 😭💀Omg, my poor FSG is literally surrounded by assassins. Director, please don’t torture my heart and soul like this 😭. I’m on the verge of tears 😭

This drama needs a solid redemption arc for the FL after all those lies to the ML. Like seriously, give me some proper character growth or I’m flipping a table. 😂

Yeah, I thought the same. FSG is the type who never goes back on his words, once he says something, he stands by it. But they could still talk things through for the sake of their friendship. I see him as someone logical and sensible, even if he’s firm.

Episode 17? Wait, which part was she being stubborn? So far, from what I’ve seen, she’s been protecting the ML too. She doesn’t let anyone hurt him. To me, she really portrays a strong and firm female general

Yes our poor ML, seriously. He’s been betrayed by everyone around him since he was a child. Basically, literally everyone betrayed him. Damn, that’s such a painful life, even though he’s the prince his father wants to make emperor. So pitiful. And then on top of that, he lost his memory too. Ugh, the pain… I can feel it straight to my heart 😭😭😭I really hope the FL stays patient with him while he’s lost his memory. And I hope he remembers everything soon.

Hahaha I’m too scared to keep watching. When the ML got attacked, almost died, then oxygen didn’t reach his brain, after the acupuncture he lost his memory and forgot the FL… I just can’t handle it anymore even though this drama is insanely good 😭

What even is this feeling? I’ve stopped watching for now. I’ll wait for the next trailer to drop, once I see something happy, I’ll continue again. Right now I just need to heal and regain my strength first. I need new energy to survive this drama hahaha 🫠✨

The plot twists in this drama are absolutely insane. You’d never see them coming. The villain’s backstory is something you’d never expect. so brilliantly written! The scriptwriter is seriously on another level.

Finally, I’ve found a drama that’s unbelievably good. Every line of dialogue is chef’s kiss, just perfect. Both the FL and ML absolutely slay their roles 🔥

I don’t know if anyone else noticed this, but when the ML accessed that guy’s memory (the one where his master Bo Yulan died because of the soul seizing technique). right after the memory started fading, the dragon assistant called him ‘Your Highness’ when starting the conversation.
That’s the only time he said it. After that, the dragon went back to calling him ‘Your Lordship’ like usual.
So… does this mean he really is a prince and the dragon assistant actually knows about it too?

I don’t think she needs to live as a man 24/7. She can just use a magic trick so that other people see her as a man. When no one’s around, she can still be herself, a woman. After all, this is all about magic and fantasy. Anything is possible.
