I’m so happy that arc was pretty quick. I was dreading that they would spend way too much time dealing with drama that really has nothing to do with the main leads.

I feel the exact same. This was so good! Solid 9/10 for me. I also ended up not really hating any of the villains. They made their choices, stuck by them, and followed through to the end. Omgosh but I love how delusional and unhinged most of them were. Def an easy rewatch for me too.

Yeah both of them gotta go. But for emperor Xia , he really would rather not have to deal with Susha at all. That said life would be miserable for the citizens under him. Neither are good matches for the Princess either.

Everyone is unhinged and the acting is great. I love it 🙂‍↕️

I hope she has a redemption arc. She really cant blame anyone but herself. She cant even blame Xia Jingshi because he told her since day 1 he wasn’t into her.

Its funny to me that if Xia Jingshi was able to bring YiXiao back to his side… their relationship would be similar to the Emperor of Susha and his late wife. He would want to conquer and tame her while she would hold steadfast to specific principles. It would be another tragedy waiting to happen.

Thats what I love about this drama. They developed the characters well enough that the audience understands their motives and even if we dont agree, they all feel human even when they’re wrong or misguided.

OHMYGOSH. Thats him. I kept watching this and confused why his face was so familiar even though I couldn’t remember where. Handsome siblings was one of the very first cdramas I watched. Totally forgot about this.

SAME. I’m so excited to have that giddy feeling again while watching a cdrama.
