it just goes down to preference like you say. I rated this fairly high (8.5 but really 8.7) because it owns its own space and doesn't try to be something its not and has fun doing it. Ive watched a lot of your examples and Joy of Life is my fav cdrama but theres another part of me that likes easy-to-watch fighting based action. Also it follows its source material pretty faithfully tbh.
I was worried that it would try to carve a space in the same lane as Weak Hero Class 1 but it made its own lane by taking a quirky/eccentric approach instead of the serious dark tones we get in WHC1. For that reason, I like that it gives us another way to appreciate this type of genre. Because honestly those 2 dramas have alot of overlapping themes. Hope your next watch fits your style though.

It was a stylistic choice to make it feel like an action webtoon come to life. But its fair if you arent into that. I’d recommend weak hero class 1 for more realistic fight choreography.

I was curious how the plot would go after Saint and Shin made up. I love how we got backstories for a lot of class 2. Their stories were so interesting. I love class 2 so much and I’m so sad for Chadjen leaving them. He’s the unofficial leader of class 2 in my eyes.
