Just finished this.. its a pretty good adaptation. I read the webtoon a year or so ago and found it interesting. The drama has the right number of eps to tell the story without dragging or adding too much unnecessary elements. Very solid.
Im halfway through this… IT’S SO GOOD. Im super picky about comedy so while Im ok with it here.. its not my fav aspect. But for it to have so many comedic elements, it still knows how to give a great plot and acting! Some scenes are still intense and emotional. The FL actress is amazing. I came in with no expectations and it blew me away.
This drama has so much charm to me. I teared up so many times and understood a lot of the characters’ perspectives…
Also the sweet moments between Xu Lingyi and Shiyi are so cute. Im so impressed with Wallace Chung in the emotional scenes. Ive been watching so many dramas with stoic MLs who don't emote well in sensitive moments. He killed it.
This drama has so much charm to me. I teared up so many times and understood a lot of the characters’ perspectives even if some of them did crazy things. I also enjoyed the character growth of a few of them. I can see why people compare this to the story of Minglan. Sucks that a lot of these comparisons are so negative.
Personally watched this after SoM and found this to have just the right amount of eps. Story of Minglan had me wanting to drop it so many times within the first 15-18 eps. Id rather rewatch this or Story of Yanxi Palace before story of Minglan.
Does GTY actually have children already? When he spoke to ML brother I though he was just helping a woman but…
Update since both of us are watching and around the similar places.. im now on ep40 and i like him more than i did. Hes still not my fav but then again im not super attached to any character other than Minglan’s grandmother

Im currently around ep 18. Im still pretty indifferent to him.
Def agree that for him to be so intelligent and physically strong, he's a bit too gullible and not good with women. Apparently he met the mistress when he was 16. I have no idea what happens next but he’s also pretty bad at handling his family too. I hope it gets better since he is the ML
Just watched this and binged it for a week. Its soo good. Knowing it was 70 eps I did get annoyed by the last arc since i knew the eps were running out and i would have rather seen other things then what we ended on. But it has high rewatch value and i know ill def be watching it again. I really enjoyed watching all of YL’s close relationships and how they each evolved.
So i technically dropped this since ep 5 but had a friend tell me about a scene in ep 10. So i watched it and it was so good… alot better than the eps i liked in the beginning
MDL and Hating Female leads is a never-ending story,Yi Chan also annoying like Eun Yu but MDL peeps are okay with…
I don't dislike Eun Yu, I just don't want Gyeol to have a love interest at all. I also want CA to have more screen time in general. Otherwise I love how they all have vastly different dynamics. Its so fun to see how they all interact with each other.
Cause her mother is depressed cause her father cheated on her and she just explained everything why she wanna…
Im going to rewatch eps 2 and 3 again bc i think im mixing up something i must’ve missed or misread (subs). Thanks for clarifying. I had the epiphany that i was misunderstanding from the person who corrected me.
Cause her mother is depressed cause her father cheated on her and she just explained everything why she wanna…
Its a little weird. Because there was a noose in her house. If she killed herself while time traveling she would wipe out both herself and her mom whose body shes in?
Now rewatching Sand and Nick's kiss scene and I can't stop laughing. Must admit they had us there.🤣🤣😅
I loved it. I just knew they were not going to feel it considering how in love they are with their love interests already. I liked how they both were like yeah... no X"D
