Lol true. Itâs so funny when you think about it. If her character was the main main, all of a sudden the relationship would be impossible by any mean and the grandma would cut her wains due to Se Jinâs family, etc lol
I like the show so far, but I donât get Se Jinâs role. If she was a rich girl going after or someone TK likes.. ok.
She is poor, her mom is gold digger, she is not loved by TK.. like she literally canât bring a thing to the table. Yet, everything os pushing towards her.
Also the part I donât think the writer should ignore is how everyone is so lenient towards her. If TK was a real person, he would just expose all things on her. He is the one being forced into something, has a right to choose and has some things on her.. and he just ignores it. While allowing her to turn single thing into her advantage to attack him.
And then she hopes she would get married to him.
Are we forgetting that marriage needs consent from both sides? Even if you force someone to sign a paper, that doesnât mean the marriage will last lol

My assumption is that the Chairman was in arranged marriage, so the grandma was only able to accept TKâs mom once the chairman was widow (as better to have âflawedâ daughter in law then having son living alone). As thats how conservative societies calculate when something is ok and when not. (Like + and - can not work together, only + and + or - and -).
But as the Chairman is so in love with TKâs mom, they probably met before and had a child. As there is nothing about the father, it makes sense. She probably said to people he is dead in order to stop further questions.
If you look back on some scenes, it always felt like the Chairman wants to say something when they insult him. And then the mom stops him.
It is to âcook the storyâ, so one day when grandma finds out to have that catharsic moment that people love in soap dramas haha. Especially if she is dying and has a regret, so people feel the justice is served xD
But yeah, we will know only in two months ahahahaha. I just love to read in between to see if I can get it hahaha
So I can see that TK will end up being the Chairmanâs son, they had him out of marriage so I assume they never told anyone to avoid âembarrassmentâ. Bcs somehow itâs more acceptable to have a child without father than this.
