Title Hide & Sis
I’m a little late to this, but I love the series. My only criticism is that Chimon isn’t really believable…
Piploy is a shape-shifter. Other actors are excellent in changing from one role to another but her ability to change within a role, while still keeping it coherent as a single character, is remarkable. She did it in Engima as well.
I went back to find that scene with Chimon (a lot happens in episodes 7-14) and it all works for me, with its gradual builds and quiet menace. Really fits the on-going 'who can you trust' motif.
But I really loved the first 6 episodes especially so I guess my whole experience of it is different from yours. Jan, Aye and Luke were my stand-outs and for excellent reasons.

6 episodes in and this is some of the best story craft I've seen this year. And it's truly women-centric. So good.

Review Memoir of Rati Spoiler
I asked for social inequality and social issues to be included in the tags. Throwing what I wrote in here, for when I've forgotten :D

Social inequality - specifically regarding class, homophobia and disability - is a constant theme. An aristocratic father loves a servant woman and their disabled son who he would like to recognise, but the family matriarch and society force them to live apart.

That father's son by his legal wife, long deceased, is gay and loves a man who was born a servant but raised abroad. That son and another man (a literal prince) both speak out for equality and against class snobbery.

The second couple, also gay, is another pairing across class divides.

In the end, those who are happy are those who accept these things. Those who don't are in pain. It's a call for social change in the form of a fairy tale lakorn. This needs to be recognised in the tags.

There are two versions of this. The one available via JFF (Aug-Oct 2025) is a 35 minute cut. I've submitted an entry to the database for that. Don't know when/if it will be accepted.

SPOILER WARNING: THIS COMMENT CONTAINS SPOILERSThis is just my opinion — my point of view.I’ve already written…
This is well said. It's very much worth reading and thinking about.

Yay, someone else who understands this. It's a trauma/grief narrative embedded in a comedy. Two really, although Gun's situational depression isn't explored well.
There's a moment when Cher's pain shows briefly on his face before he switches into jester mode (to cheer up Jack maybe, it was a conversation with him). So brief but it says so much about the character.
The boss/intern dynamic is somewhat mitigated by Cher's utter lack of interest in a job there after he graduates. And also by Cher being an irrepressible force of nature who disrupts that positional power dynamic constantly. I know, still boss/intern.
Thanks for taking the time with such a well-thought out review.

Considering bailing on Heart Killers after 1 ep. Knew it probably wasn't for me but I didn't expect it to be so bad. First and Khaotung have lovely smiles but I'd be better off watching anything else for that.
Dropped early in episode 3, when they started the BDSM thing. Turns out that's a hard limit for me and the quality of the series was so poor it's not worth it. Extra weirdness from the writing being so weak it felt more like watching the actors than characters and I am so not a shipper either, let alone one where pain is inflicted.
Depth of Field - dropped end ep 3 - looks like it's going to be abusive behaviours solved through the miracle of love and music. Completely lost me with what's meant to be a sincere apology but followed by a non-con kiss (while sleeping).

Mek talks about going to see Dech's father, which implies he's in jail. Thai series sometimes tie up loose ends with just a sentence or two when they're not the real story.

Novice, sometimes quite disjointed film making, but at its heart a lovely coming of age with a twist. It's not long, so if you're willing to overlook some quirks for its heart, don't read this page lest you spoil things and just give it a go.

Can't say that a Monomax remake of a 1990s action lakorn thrills me, but the three listed actors are all excellent so I'm in :) If you haven't seen his work already, Punjan is worth looking out for too.

god forbids an actor plays a bad person
Ah Twitter, that explains why you were so quick to scorn and derision. This conversation didn't need to take so long to get to substance.
Ok, I was wrong about the intentions, at least for some.
May I be permitted to express my reaction and opinion that the way it was handled - jarring and out of place in a sea of marshmallow writing - clouded and weakened the message? It didn't have the bedrock of solid writing to ground that sort of move.
