Come on. Thai PBS is all over this page, comments and details. I mentioned it to you twice. Take a look. The copies on dailymotion are stolen. Which makes no sense for a wee series which is free to stream legally and was officially subbed within a week. The fansubbers put their own watermark and info on it of course. Left in the Thai PBS logo posts credits. I guess that's something.
I haven't seen the kdrama but heard about it at length. Based on that, I think the Thai mix of goofy, over the top humour and serious emotion probably makes the outlandish plot work better.

Look up at the top of this page - Original Network: Thai PBS. Click on that link and it will take you to MDL search results showing over 4 pages of series and mini-series from them.
I can't find eng subs for this show anywhere ðŸ˜ðŸ˜
For Thai PBS, always look on their vipa.me streaming service. They're adding more and more English subs. Quite quickly for some of their new programmes too. A few of us try to keep direct links on the title pages, but Thai PBS has changed the format they use for that. Ask if one doesn't work, or doesn't lead to English subs.
Thai PBS ditched the unwieldy slug= format. So hurrah for that, but those links are dead. I've updated direct links on the pages for The Forest, The Summer We Met and each of the Thun Thai titles. Saeng found the change, she updated on The Death of Khun Phra. I'm away to make a forum thread so those of us who care about Thai PBS can subscribe to it and make it easier to share news and info. Also - newly subbed Once a Doctor https://vipa.me/th/contents/7061/thedoctor
If you watch via a stolen upload, that doesn't give Thai PBS feedback. Direct link to the programme, with English subs on its original channel here. Please support them and show your interest. Their vipa.me streaming service is free. At most you might need to register a free account for a few programmes. https://vipa.me/en/contents/13586/be-mine-be-yours
tl:dr If you're only here because BL, it is in YOUR interest to do this to encourage more from the original channel.

Thai PBS is free to stream. Please give the traffic to them, not stolen uploads. If only because it shows interest in the programming and English subs.
Help!! I don’t know if I missed something (fell asleep) but did they ever explain where Sun was for the 5 months…
I assumed Ton & Nat took their son home to nurse him back to health, but that doesn't explain why no one told Junior. Like ok Sun maybe couldn't, but did he not have a phone, and Nat would have maybe wanted to stay by his side, but Ton would have been out there looking for Junior. (It's been a bit, I forget how the friends should have fit into this, but clearly they should have.) So yes, plot hole.
Where this falls down IMO is when it shifts to a mystery/thriller. It felt like it was throwing in twists for the sake of twists and tension for the sake of tension. Like a string wound tighter and tighter until it finally snaps. And with that, I lost immersion. Was really disappointed and I went from thinking I'd rate the Story quite high to lowering it and lowering it. In the last episodes (it took a LONG time to wrap all of the messes up), I couldn't get back to the emotional impact it should have had. That part of it works better in retrospect than it did in the watching. I'm still unconvinced by one of the twists - the emotional truth of it was off, especially with the way one character was developed, and it felt like a lazy way to bring about some other things. In a long lakorn which did brilliantly well with its dizzying array of complicated, emotional truths, that was the wrong place to take a shortcut.
Is the music teacher the serpent, ie in Catholic imagery the tempter/devil, and thus the Serpent's *Song*? Which would explain him leading her away from the convent at the end. Though that reading feels too het-proximate for a queer film festival. (I've seen more het sex on Gaga than any of my other viewing for the last several years though, so who knows with them.) Can't find a Thai title and "The Serpent's Song" was baked in on the film (not just subtitles) so I think we can work with that imagery given that it's specifically Catholic. Don't know if/how that might interest with the Naga. Not making any claims to understanding the film, just adding this to the mix.
