I think this drama is great for making you feel for the characters and what they go through, but there is a lot of bad writing that detract from the experience
I'm confused on some parts. In episode 5, how is SZ having the same tiny bag as YCW evidence that she murdered YCW? They could have bought it at the same place. And in episode 9, how was ZLJ able to deduce that YCW is now SZ? "SZ" knew the voice lines said in their first interaction but this could have been told to her like how BXS could have known how to do the orchid knot that only YCW knew. He sees BXS as a liar, so he suspected SZ was the one who did the orchid knot. But both the voice lines and the knot could have been passed along to her by YCW. He knows SZ and YCW weren't on good terms but he's also not hovering over her so she could have reconciled and taught it. Or is it a normal conclusion that someone swapped faces in their world?
In Episode 7, Qi Lian made me so enraged. He treated Xiao Yuan as less than human; blaming, man handling, blackmailing, taking his anger out on, and controlling her all against her will without a single regard for her feelings. I've never been this enraged by a show in a long time. I get why he did it, but that definitely doesn't excuse this. Props to Xiao Yuan for getting through this and rising above
Can someone tell me if the ML get together at the end.πππ
If you mean romantically, Tianhe does eventually get together with Lingsha where they profess their love for each other and are assumed then onward to be a couple
Yes! But it is never explicitly said. Zi Ying acts different around Lingsha than with anyone else where the viewer can tell he only has eyes for her and he gets noticeably sad when he sees her having romantic moments with Tianhe.
I'm on ep 10 and honestly it's a little boring. Will it get better?
Hmm, depends on what you're looking for. I don't know what you find boring or interesting so I can't say if it gets better or not. If you're interested in Qionghua and the mystery of Tianhe's parents, episode 13 onward dives deeper into it
Also I will mention that although I hated Xuan He as a character and felt only pity for Qin Yue the actors themselves…
Their levels of maturity are probably because they have a 10-year age gap lol. XH and QY definitely had fiery chemistry, but I personally have mixed feelings on their relationship. On one hand, it's beautiful that XH grew as a character and is ready for a relationship, but the way he treated QY throughout makes me think he didn't deserve QY waiting for him in the end. I share your pain on how the main leads' besties are the only ones with a definitive and happy ending
just finished the last episode (Iβm not okay)π€πΌ
Understandable π I had been in a bit of a stupor after finishing and needed time to let it all sink in and manage my emotions because I definitely wasn't expecting it to end like that
Also I will mention that although I hated Xuan He as a character and felt only pity for Qin Yue the actors themselves…
Omg thank you so much for the explanation. What you said made sense of the whole situation and cleared my confusion. He probably did mistake his guilt for love or wanted to get close for ulterior motives, the attempted kiss and fervent romantic pursuit totally threw me off into thinking he actually had feelings for Chu Xia, and how he treated her and Qin Yue made me think he might've loved both at the same time but treats the people he loves like trash. My analysis was pretty off so thank you. Xuan He is such a great and complex character. I agree that they did a phenomenal job in acting π
It's great and there's no harm in giving it a try! There's no commitment so you can drop it any time if it's not…
What the other comment said. It happened in the earlier episodes. She was possessed and apologized when she realized she had stabbed him. It wasn't a big deal and was never brought up again
