I am a bit surprised and not pleasantly. This seemed a lot different from the director's previous works. As if it was one of his earlier works where he was still searching for his voice. I don't know what went wrong with this movie. This would be his first work that I did not love and except Swallow, I have watched all other. The conflict resolution was too quick and simple.
The starting 2 episodes were a bit underwhelming. It appears to be shot in the world of ' Love after Addiction' with a bigger budget. I hope it picks up.
What a massive letdown. The start was already bumpy and then it got rushed and crashed. So many unanswered questions…
Letdown of epic proportion. Even with this budget if they would have kept the story telling simple rather than convoluted, it would have worked wonders with these actors. For example, when the past changed and U-jin didn't die, it could be shown that the 2MLs had a solid relationship over the years and they are living together now. Hye Song wakes up from the time travel and finds photos of them around the apartment and then U Jin comes home and gives him a hug and asks how was his day! That would have been enough and perfect! At the end instead of a searing hug the artistic choice was to maintain social distance!
I'm on episode 7 and I get leaving to study abroad and a long distance relationship is a big deal but why are…
The writers may have thought it was not melo-dramatic enough and went for over kill! At this point, its any body's guess what the writers were thinking!
so he was losing his ability to see color for no reason?? and why did they make it seem like he ran into another…
The writers just thought the viewers will be happy with the pairing and wont ask questions! In any universe if you meet your first love after ages, whom you thought had died, you would run to them and embrace. But here they decided to maintain social distance till the end!
