IMO a thriller thrieves on details. If those are messed up then things go down. The first 2 episodes were engaging enough for me. However I would have appreciated a little more attention to details. 1. The FL wakes up from sleep and shows up to identify her Fiancé's body in impeccble clothes and high heels! Even the hair is neatly done if not perfect! 2. The ML easily moves in and out of a highly securer office building with acees control and constant security! 3. The Police Officer shares every detail with the ML, why? There is no professional integrity? Also their relationship is not explained. Siblings? Cousins? There are several such laps. Where as these could have been easily addressed. This would have made the viewing experience much better. I will continue to see where it goes. I hope it picks up.
Everyone is suspicious but I don't think anyone from the friend group killed Naoto's brother despite all of them…

But I also think there is a 5th character and none of the 4 friends did the recent killing. That would be too obvious. It could also be the Senior Police officer. Who figured out everything 23 years ago and had some score to settle with Naoto's brother. Another crazy theory 😁.
My question is why they even hid the gun. Yeah Junichi shot the robber but even then, he was a minor and acting…
As far as I remember Kiyohara took the gun as a keepsake of his father or something like that. Later after a few days the 4 friends put it in a time capsule.
Detective Nara was annoying but she was doing her job. There were many loopholes in the story, ex why was the investigation done in such a sloppy way 23 years ago? surely the 4 kids had no influence, how is it possible D. Nara solved the case so easily where as no one in 23 years questioned it? May be there were bigger powers, who knows. Makiko is going at it. She is seducing Junichi. If Junichi gives into it, I will be sad. But that is where it is headed most likely. Who am I to judge! I have a feeling there is a 5th character. Junichi heard 4 gun shots and Kiyohara 5. Why D. Nara didn't zoom in on it is another loophole! But she got her confession so her mission was completed. The GF seems too cool to be true. She might have a trick or two up her sleeve 😁😋.

In Ep 2, did the detective leave the victim's phone intentionally for Lin Ting Yu to pick up? I mean why!! I was so put off by that move. Why would a detective let an evidence get stolen? Even if they did, why would they let the stolen evidence be out of their reach for so long that LTY could loiter with it? And, about the phone of the first victim, why wouldn't the police confiscate his phone in the first place? He was a victim but he also showed up with a gun in front of a police station? Isn't it the police's responsibility to figure out his motive? These two things have made the viewing experience go down a few notch for me. Taiwan makes great thrillers. I didn't except such sloppy story telling from them 🥺
