Doesn't the police know he has dissociative amnesia! What a lot of crap. Ep 4 when YSB met the police he also said, Haneul will not be able to support the investigation now. Why not mention about the memory loss?!!! And if the police knew, why are they asking him about if he remembers? The story telling, editing are all over the place. I was utterly frustrated watching ep 6.
Can you please tell me what foing 'makjang' means? Does it mean something like Soap Opera type or Thai Lakorn…
Thank you! I get it now. I was thinking, how can a high budget drama with keading starts have plastic sugery, face change trope. It makes sense now. In the world of Soap Operas reality/doability/plausibilty all goes out the window. Only theatrics remain! Thank you for explaining!
I try to steer clear of romance mixed thrillers. I didn't have good experience with them before. But for this one, I stuck it out for Takeuchi Ryoma and was predictably let down!
I feel the writer deliberately write Keisuke as a loser to make Junichi look good. But it’s a bit unrealistic
I agree with you. In order to make Junichi the savior, Keisuke's character and the father-son relationship was downplayed/compromised. But in all other episodes Keisuke was present and was their when the son was in trouble. This was not necessary. Both of the could have been good father figures.
In order to make Junichi, Makiko and her son's savior, the makers did not have to make Keisuke a terrible father. In order to make one character great the others do not have to be put down. He was also a victim as HIS father was killed. He also must have trauma and definitely made poor decision by not informing Makiko and his son about his second marriage. However, he and Makiko married for love, there was no deception there. They parted amicably and was raising their child together. But in the last episode the makers decided to make Keisuke an insecure character and ruin the father-son relationship. This is another point of disappointment!
I knew Junichi and Makiko would end up together, so even though I did not dig this pair, this is not something that I am disappointed about. What bothered me most was the way the detective story was ended. How did detective Nara know that the chief was the accomplice? Was there any conclusive indication? Did she get any tip from somewhere? The first victim was her fiancé, she had doubts about the case and she is a top notch detective then why didn't she investigate earlier! How did she even guess that the guns were switched? In order to wrap it up in half an episode, all sorts of corners were cut. The last episode was rushed and riddled with many plot holes and that is what disappointed me the most. Because for 8 episodes the focus was on the murder that Makiko committed and it was done nicely. But on the last episode it all went down the drain. BUMMER!
