I am unable to give a rating to it because I honeslty did not understand what happened. I read the synopsis but the short felt different. When the end credits were running there were some characters mentioned but I did not remember seeing them in the short ... all in all I didn't get it. But the artistic language, color palatte of the film are things that I have enjoyed.
Its a sad portrayal of the reality faced by many LGBTQ members around the world. I knew of this movie and was not planning to watch it because you know, I want to escape from the reality in the world of Cinemas. But the movie is too well made to be missed so caved in. It's well made, acted and sub-texted story. It is not just an LGBTQ story but a story of complex human relationships, insecurities, desires etc. etc. I would recommend it and also maybe rewatch it.
I'm loving this series alot so far i just wish there were subtitles for the social media posts. I can make out…
I have also enjoyed what i have watched so far. Not the typical lovey dovey BL. So i wonder if it will get widespread viewership. I am happy to get a peak into the behind the scenes of the shipped couple.
Like I thought Aye would be the one to know about the curse beforehand at least more than Akk does. So, I was…
Thr background music was too loud for me too. As if the makers were trying to force the viewers to feel a certain point unless we miss it! I hope they tone it down in future. Inteigued none the less 😀
I really enjoyed the natural progression of the relationship. The blurring line between affection and love, becoming closer day by day and working tow ards a common goal, not knowing what to call it but to keep a promise .... I enjoyed all of it. The ending was a bit disaapointing as it left a lot of it open. Yet its a good one.
I am enjoying this so far, plot and execution. But I am wondering if anyone is finding the actor playing the Kaneda character a bit off. I am finding his always surprised look a bit off putting. I don't know why but the pair also seems odd .... hahahahahaha .... but yet I am enjoying it!! Ya I know I am not making sense. Anyways, happy watching yall!
I am a bit overwhlemed after ep 7 and 8. It felt real. The struggle of both the MLs, very palpable. Both JW and SJ need help from outside. It was good to see how their friends came out to support them. They need to find a way to reconciliation, healing either together or separate or something in between. I have truly enjoyed the episodes as I could relate to their situation. Being lonely in a relationship is the worst and many suffetr through it and rarely have the courage to do anything about it. The way JW did it was cruel but intimate partners are oftentimes the one to cause such pains. Not trying to defend anyone's behaviour, simply saying I can understand why JW and SJ are behaving the way they are behaving. I love this show.
