Unfortunately I did not enjoy this episode. What I failed to understand is why is Peek even in the competition if he doesn't want to do what Y idols do? It is not unknown to him what Y idols are like. Maybe he joined in order to support his family, don't know. For me it lacked basic reasoning. And Peek's acting was the weakest of the actors that I have seen so far in this show. I hope this story picks up, I really enjoyed the earlier two stories.
Episode 2 could have been better. They are struggling with the comic reliefs and all that. The two supporting characters (Park and Phong) and their interjections are dragging the show. But still I am enjoying this so far. I like the production, the leads are fire, the OST is amazing and also I like the dragon, tiger reference. It will probably be not one of the best BLs and all that but for me I am enjoying the grey main leads. They are good and bad at the same time. I hope the show picks up its pace in the future episodes.
I skipped and binged :). I did enjoy bits of it, specially their banter. And both the leads are supremely good looking, specially Sherbet's hair (needs a separate post for it!). The show has many flaws but the duo is hot as hell and I wanted to say it :).
The love story was undetstated but I liked it. The ending was in par with the time it was made at. At least both characters expressed their love for eachother and that's always a good thing.
Unfortunately I am feeling the series is loosing it's edge :(. The curse, the protests, Ayan's plan to unearth the truth about his uncle's demise, none of these tracks have made any significant progress in the last couple episodes. The relationships of the couples are progressing but that's even getting too dragged (my opinion). Ep 9 kiss under water, I felt the build up to the scene was half-hearted. There has been many iconic underwater kiss scenes in BLs, so I have been spoiled forever. Anyways, it's just how I felt. Happy for everyone who are enojying. It is still far better than many BLs out there but it could have been great.
Though I was expecting this ending, but it hit hard. It made me quite emotional. Unfortunately I know the pain and despair of loosing someone young and close. Many times I have thought if I could go back in time and change the outcome. But nothing like that will ever happen. I will just have to wait till I move on to the next phase. This drama, though had many technical shoetcomings, small budget yet had a strong emotional core and good actors. It touched a chord, for me. I hope it is well appreciated and the actors and the creative team flourishes more.
