This is terrible. We've been going in circules for 6 episodes and for what? The storyline is childhish and overdramatic…
I mean, all of their more 'serious' BLs are slated to air for the second half of the year. For the first half, they're just testing if their rookie CPs (ForceBook, JoongDunk) have brand/pillar power. Once they prove that they do, they'll give them a more interesting series, just like they did with PondPhuwin.
The should move to a different company and start over. I was going to suggest Wabi Sabi but with how they're holding BounPrem hostage, I don't think that's the best idea lol
The only way this can get better is if the screenwriters popped up at the end of Episode 12 and announced that this whole series was a social experiment.
Nuea's insecurity of Kluen and Gia's relationship is childish, but keep in mind he's only 17. It's pretty normal for teens in their first relationship to be that irrational. Plus, Kluen didn't really help with his non-denials every week until now.
Overall, this drama is a lot of fluff, but it never really claimed to be any different. It was always marketed as your typical, by-the-numbers university BL which is exactly why I don't have a problem with its filler episodes etc, unlike say Enchante, which marketed itself as a university BL with an 'interesting twist' that ended up going nowhere.
This wouldn't have done as well without JoongDunk's chemistry tbh. With their natural fanservice and rising popularity, I can easily see them joining PondPhuwin as GMMTV's Gen Z pillars. I hope they get another interesting project like PondPhuwin did too!
You packed a lot of solid message into a much shorter post than I could have accomplished it in. And I agree with…
If I had a friend like Khai, I don't even want to think about what I'd do to him. Some level of physical assault WILL take place.
As for FUTS, Mork is one of the worst male leads with how much he pushed Pi outside his comfort zone and how he kept harping on the fact that he loved him even when he was 'ugly'. Like do you want a prize for that?
There's a companion novel to FUTS called Star in the Sea with Nan (Mix's character) as the lead and it's about the romance between him and his half-brother...

Okay, now I'm curious about what happens in the novel but I don't want to read it at all. Do your girl a favor and spoiler tag it, please?
I wouldn't put it past book fans to want even problematic elements adapted. Especially 2gether fans who created such a ruckus when Win was cast.
From my experience, Thai BL fans LOVE their toxic tropes. For example, the Star in My Mind novel paints DaoNuea as VERY submissive. He's like Pete in LBC - never questions anything, is polite to the point of it becoming annoying, always gives in to the top etc. Kluen would do random shit to him and he wouldn't question it at all. He was also like two inches shorter than everyone else, again adding to that 'cute, submissive, and cuddly' feeling.
So, cut to the trailer for the show coming out where Dao was not only as tall as the 'seme' character (and even taller in some angles), but swore, laughed loudly, and stood up for himself. Novel fans were PISSED, with some even saying they'd boycott the show if the screenwriters didn't rewrite the script and turn his character back into the stereotypical bottom he was in the book.
Like damn, do y'all hate 17 year-old boys acting like real 17 year-old boys (and not children) THAT much?

Didn't she write Theory of Love and FUTS too? Everyone knows the main couple in TOL is messed up (kinda the point), but I found the FUTS couple to be messed up too tbh.
That's not fair! This show has also been about lying, dogs, avoidance, sex, Kuea's general inadequacy in the eyes…
Nuer was from the Computer Engineering department yet was the only one who noticed a huge flaw in their design? Man must be hurting from carrying the show AND the project on his back
I think they are building NueaSyn for their own drama maybe
I mean Domundi can't come up with a decent script to save their lives so I want Nuer/Syn to get with a company that can actually give them a good series

Fans of the 2gether novel were upset because Win looked too 'chubby' and 'masculine' for Tine. He had to lose over 10 kgs to stay on board.
I'm happy about the changes they made to Dao too. He still wears his heart on his sleeve, but in a more believable way.

But tbh who would've thunk Not Me would have one of the best relationships in 2022 BLs?
I fear for Vice Versa.
