Harin, Daeyeon, Woo Yi go to juvie. Suji and Jaeun live together. Yerim gets dropped from the debut lineup of her group, but becomes a solo artist. Eunjung loses her swimming scholarship. Some rich kids' parents send them abroad to get away from the fallout.

Doa isn't persecuted because she isn't seen as a bystander since she helps Suji dismantle the game. She goes on to become a doctor.

Harin disappears after trying to commit suicide. There's a bit of backstory about her which others have spoiled below. There's a class reunion 10 years later which Suji decides to attend. There she discovers Doa has inherited her dad's hospital. Not sure about the rest, don't remember the details.

I'd argue and say she is pretty selfish, she doesn't care about things unless they involve her. She herself admits this, and it's lamp shaded by other characters in the webtoon too.

I like that we have an anti-hero female lead. Suji isn't perfect, and that's what makes her fun.

You'll beat up girls who gave your parents a job and pulled you out of poverty? 3/4ths of the girls in that class are indebted to Grade A girls in some way or the other, that's why they can't go against them easily.

I mean, you really think Harin's family don't have connections in the police force? They're Samsung level, they own half the country.

Also, there's a reason Jaeun never protests when Harin does anything to her, including being burnt by cigarettes. You can watch the rest of the episodes to know why :)

I don't think Harin expected Suji to be so smart or resourceful enough to bring her down.

You're not supposed to justify it, the scene exists for you to understand BHR's character and motivations better.

BHR hates herself at the core of everything. And she burns the kid because she reminds her of her young self (the mom's comment on how the kid looks just like young BHR, and the kid who plays young HR looking identical to the girl she burned). Her burning the child was metaphorical in that sense.

Right? Suji is smart, and if you saw all the academic awards she received and the fact that she was able to maintain her grades despite all the bullying she suffered when she was in F, she's naturally pretty smart without having to put a lot of effort in.

Suji was always supposed to be an anti-hero. She wasn't the perfect angel who wants justice, that's Jaeun's role.

But like the comment above me said, Suji never goes out of her way to hurt anyone. She's selfish yes, but prefers to say out of trouble. Harin made a mistake manipulating the rankings so Suji became F, that became the game's downfall. If she wasn't F, she probably wouldn't have cared about the game either.

I mean, Harin's father being afraid of her is something that has happened in the drama already.

There is another villain (apart from Harin) too, we've already met her. I'd call her the main, main villain. But that is something I absolutely won't tell. It's a twist you need to watch/read in real time haha.

Jaeun and Harin are biological sisters. They both lived in poverty with their mom and stepdad and were very, very close, some would say inseparable.

Their stepdad was a terrible person, kept urging their mom to send one of the girls to the orphanage so they didn't have to take care of both of them. Since Jaeun was always a bit quiet and on the 'dumb' side, Harin thought she would be the one to get sent away, so she worked extremely hard to make sure Jaeun wouldn't go away and they could stay together.

Harin was always smart and cunning, even as a kid. She manipulates her mom into making sure both of them can stay together and she keeps Jaeun away from her parents so that they can't emotionally guilt trip her into voluntarily going to the orphanage. However, her stepdad catches on to her and through a series of events, Harin gets sent to the orphanage.

The orphanage is terrible, Harin gets abused daily. There, there's also this policy that 'good' kids, those who are ranked B or above by the handlers, get extra food at meals, don't have to clean etc. Whereas, those who are ranked F get bullied by both the handlers and other orphans.

The only thing keeping Harin going is getting back to Jaeun because she thinks the latter is absolutely wrecked at being separated from her sister. However, she goes out of the orphanage one day and sees Jaeun eating ice cream with her mom, all happy. That's when she starts hating her, and she realizes Jaeun played a big role in her getting sent to the orphanage in the first place.

Harin then comes back to the orphanage with a single purpose - to get revenge on Jaeun. She acts like the perfect, sweet, innocent girl to get an A grade and realizes she will need to get adopted into a rich family if she wants to have the power to do anything to Jaeun. So, she works on her manners and makes herself the perfect 'rich' daughter.

One day, the parents from the Baek group come to the orphanage to adopt a child. Their child, Baek Harin, just passed away, and they need her alive because the chairwoman of the group (Harin's grandma) adores Baek Harin and was thinking of passing down all her assets to her. So, the parents need her to get the assets.

The orphanage owner suggests Harin and another girl. The couple chooses the other girl to adopt because she has more of a resemblance to the dead Baek Harin. However, our main Harin knows she needs to get adopted to this family, so she volunteers for kitchen duty with the other girl the day before the latter's adoption is supposed to get finalized and burns her face with hot water. The couple refuse to adopt a girl with a scarred face and Harin gets adopted instead.

She sees Jaeun again in school when she transfers in Year 2 and decides to make the Pyramid Game more cruel so she can torture her and exact her revenge. The whole purpose of the game is to ruin Jaeun.
