You're acting like the west have a very accurate opinion of muslims when everybody knows damn well what kind of image is being circulated in media, if you wanna pretend that it varies case by case, let me tell you that only a small minority of people in the west went out of their way to do some research and have an accurate view of muslims based on it.

People's opinion on a population or any other thing depends heavily on what is circulated in the media. The entire word has been exposed to a certain image of the west. Similarly, SK now earned a certain positive image thanks to the hallyu wave. But muslims?? they've been depicted as barbarians for decades, courtesy of the west, and don't act like other countries don't repeat whatever the US says. It'd very stupid to pretend otherwise.

first of all, marital rape and all kind of rape is forbidden in islam. Second of all, if you wanna argue abt how it's unfair that widowed women are placed under the custody of a man, it's simply bc a man is obliged to provide a roof, clothes and food for a woman so she doesn't have to worry abt it herself. A man's money belongs to him and the women related to him while a woman's money is ONLY hers to handle. Those financial privileges are granted upon women by god himself. A woman can ask for conditions in the marriage contract including matters regarding work, and the husband to be has to agree if he wants to marry her. But the west loves to twist these concepts to fit their agenda. Why should they get offended when another country is insulted? How are they supposed what's insulting in another country and what's not?
