absolutely not! Whether it was driven by desperation or not, whether the killer was about to walk away or not,…
This is a late comment but I agree with the other two commenters. While I understand your thinking, them healing each other would have done a great disservice to both of their characterizations. Jin-seok's reason to commit suicide was the most obvious, he has lived as an amnesiac trash his entire life only to find out that he failed his life goal (saving his brother) and ruined another's life while doing so. That must have brought so much shame and self hatred and a lot of wishing that he didn't exist. There's no way he would have seen any reason to continue living life , so he offed himself. Broken as he is, forget him healing anyone else when he couldn't to it for himself.
Yoo-seok's reason was a bit harder to understand but as the other commentator's stated it, his whole life goal must have been to find the killer, find the truth and get revenge. He said he was sent to an orphanage, chances are he didn't live a very happy life especially given how he ended up being a gangster. He must have thought that given how it was his father behind all that, no matter whether Jin-seok was involved or not, his mom would have still died. At that moment, he must have been hit with the realization that life has no meaning, that kindness, warmth and family are volatile things. Having fulfilled his goal, he didn't see any reason to continue living either.
While this is a work of fiction which means a lot of events don't go as they would in real life, the characters have to be human and realistic in order for us to connect with them. (That's the reasoning most great creators like Hayao Miyazaki have). So yeah, healing each other just couldn't have happen with these two given the circumstances. The only way they could have lived is if they had another close character they had to protect or depended on them but then it would have taken away the desperation that was so palpable in this movie.
Did the Jin Seok never leave the house? Like thats one thing thats muddling me...like how could they keep the…
He was held there for only one or two days I think before he found out. Unless you mean why he never went out to explore the neighbourhood since they "just" moved in, then yeah it's kinda plot-holey but maybe he thought studying was more important?
First Han Hyo Joo character that I dislike very much. No matter what, even her dream career was at stake, none of that justified sacrificing the dreams of others.
I wish there were more jaehee-gilho moments, not for romance sake, ik that's not the point, but having recycled scenes for these two vs a brand new scene for yeonseo felt a bit ugh...
Jaehee was important to both of them, yes but I still wish we got a bit more details on what emotional link gilho had with her. (for yeonseo, it was saviour-saved for both of them)
Spoiler answer starts here, it's a video of the higher ups gang graping a girl from what i understood. I might be mistaken but in any case it's a strong evidence that ruin higher ups' reputation. It's unclear exactly who is involved.
I might be wrong but I think jo bo ah will not be a FL but a PL ex that's the reason why in article it's mentioned…
Might be. Bc Kim Shi Eun is also cast as a main role, a potential love triangle? Or it could be that Jo Bo Ah and Kim Soo Hyun will play exes to lovers?
