I was so so busy these past couple of days that I'm only catching up now. Finally got to the ice bath scene! I hate censorship fr fr but it was well done, at least they didn't totally omit the scene. Although... a back hug and nuzzle would have made me jump three feet off the ground but alas...

This version is more in-line with mr-nice-guy Wei Shao that they're making him out to be in the drama. But I can still create some head canon about what actually happened by mixing the events of the drama and novel, no censorship needed in my brain 😌😈

Only a few hours left until the next episodes are out I suddenly got reminded of that scene where they were stuck outside in the wind and rain and the chubby maid of FL was trying again and again to stop the men from making them leave, falling to the ground, crying and begging, while the women inside were crying and mouring. It was such a vivid painting of what women used to go through and sometimes still go through even now. That scene was so beautiful and heart wrenching and honestly one of my favorite scenes in cdrama history. Brilliant acting from everyone ❤️

Why are all these people getting reported for the same damn thing. They better not stop this drama I'd be fuming I finally found one I genuinely enjoyed

And the rumors saying that this one will air right after POB is getting me all excited and I'd be so disappointed if it doesn't

I'm an absolute sucker for arrange marriage & enemies to lovers tropes. I always hate insta love tropes. I tried a melody of a golden age, it started off fine, but the FL got on my nerves so its on hold, currently watching princess royal but idk why it hasn't fully hooked me even though its quite nice. Idk what else to watch to fill the void


Although its not arranged marriage, I'm also looking forward to LYN's A dream within a dream but I have to wait even longer for that one lolll

Of course I'm not saying men should go around and start choking women pls no wth and the reason he did it was so stupid too over a misunderstanding, but overall, something like that wouldn't make me dislike the ML but lets say... if he were to slap her or something then I'd be rolling my sleeves up and wanting him to disappear real quick.

yeah exactly, this put me off a little because i felt like she wasn't too consistent with her personality. But I thought well all humans make mistakes and stupid decisions sometimes and they aren't always doing the same thing like an AI so I'll count these scenes with FL as those kinds of moments
