I rewatched that slap scene 5 times. It was so satisfying!

okay. So having almost finished the novel, i can say that the drama version is quite better story/plot wise, the novel felt quite flat for me, just random bits and pieces of FL being smart and the rest was filled with smut (not complaining but there wasn't much tension or story and the parts that existed felt weirdly connected).

The drama itself does skip over a bunch of things, there are quite some changes from the novel until now and the ML kind of feels like a flammable object suddenly catching fire and exploding instead of being more like "yeah he's constantly like this so its not weird" lol
In the novel his on and off thing with FL was presented more seamlessly I think and he felt much more ruthless but he's much nicer in the drama. Its probably mostly because of the editing but overall I'm not disappointed.

I also love that the FL is not so passive like she felt like in the novel, she's very obviously cunning... even though she's a bit inconsistent with it lmao like girl why would you suddenly believe this guy is serious about liking you after all he's said

I can't wait for the ice bath scene!!!! Now I have to wait 17 hours for next ep!!! omg!

I'm almost finishing the novel and I have literally no clue how they're going to have it in any way similar. a major chunk of the novel is all spicy scenes lmaooo they're going to be cutting it all out what would be left??? 😂

this is so cringy but still entertaining, curious how their romance would develop

I feel like the build up wasn't enough, I didn't feel the tension. Like the are some scenes in some cdramas where the main leads are literally just looking at each other and you feel like you're interrupting something lol I wanted to like this but it didn't do it for me sadly

They should do this with all the other time travel series as well. It saves the story on the long run imo

Picked this back up after putting it on hold after a while. I'm quite enjoying it until episode 10. I've read that this has a HE thankfully, which makes me really curious how they managed to avoid censorship for the series since it has time travel. anyone know?

wow... that was a very bad starting episode. The opening was interesting but after the first 5 min everything went down hill.

I'm liking this series now that i picked it back up but can someone pls explain to me wth was that first episode. Like it felt like a different series from the 2nd episode. Ik they were "showing the past" but it genuinely felt different, as if the story changed suddenly. Also there were some flashback scenes we see in the next couple of episodes that we never actually saw happen.
