There's a truly entertaining story to this drama IF the director had not made it so draggy with constant long pauses in dialogue & scene endings and have the king looking pathetic, teary-eyed, lost & lonely and overly sad! Typical palace politics, power struggle, a princess with a cursed prophecy, 3 men vying for her and of course the back stabbing betrayers!
I rewatched this historical kdrama again and hands down it sits in my top 3 best period production besides 'Yi San' and 'Queen Seon deok'. Grandeur sets, fabulous costumes, great script & outstanding cast! Love cool, collected Tal Tal (Jin Yi Han). Lengthy dramas but worth the watch!
This is one of the most stupid kdrama I've ever viewed! There's a good story hidden but badly produced & presented. Acting was over the top silly & the constant whining, childish talk and loud procrastination over $$$ would drive you crazy! Jin Yi Han kept me watching while playing my handheld games!
C'mon reviewers! It is a silly, far fetched, ridiculous super power drama with very strong family ties but there was sometime likeable about this drama for just 16 episodes to pass the weekend!

Rewatched this after watching several other LJG dramas and find the script ok but the really young female leads drove me nuts! His first love was so childish and 120 years later there's this immature girl/boy kid book merchant selling adult mags! Really writers!
This is a typical mind-boggling D.R.A.M.A. and I enjoyed it! The script was interesting but could have been reduced without 2 sub plots that was quite unnecessary (fast forward). Cast was great! KBJ as the 83 yr old matriarch was outstanding! She'll annoy you in the earlier episodes but she has the best lines, wardrobe, performance and provided comic relief throughout the drama. Shots of the cute baby helped the occasional zzz... The title is a big ? but watch it, gets addictive midway!
This kdrama was surprisingly interesting! The blades threw me off at first, yawn, another Ed scissor hands wannabe! LDW & SSK's chemistry makes it a worthwhile 18 episode watch. It's a quirky script of rich boy, poor girl, angry blades and typical twist & turns relationship.
