Another Studio Dragon fantasy sci-fi that tests our intelligence and stretches our imagination! Interesting script with leading man, LMH and a talented cast but a lukewarm EP 16!
A Silly romcom but entertaining for a see all in a weekend! Love JSM, she was brillant in AOS and to see her again in a modern setting was a delight! Why do kdramas highlight drunkenness & misunderstandings? I love the food though!
Beautiful love story between a strong, silent man and a beautiful lady that will pull at your heartstrings! Ren and Bai Lu portrayed their characters to perfection. Was hoping that mean, obsessive Ziyng would have had a miserable death!
There's a good story in this cdrama but production & direction blew it into a long winded dialog riddled stage performance! The cast must have been exhausted & traumatized memorizing the long script lines that they came out emotionless! Long excruciating sad & poignant moments became painful for the viewer! Funny, not really! I'm almost at the end of the drama so why am I still watching it? I've survived so far by playing 'Gems & Jewels' with the drama running on my TV so I can see the ending 😁 Great dances & beautiful costumes though on repeated stages!
Delightful, historical romantic kdrama, story focused on the adorable/famous main leads! No frustrating sub plots to extend the episodes! Interesting script, outstanding production, a great weekend must watch for all lovebugs! 😍
Is it a coincidence that I just watched 'Hospital Playlist', a heartwarming medical kdrama that highlights songs from the band and now a heartbreaking kdrama that's has a running fashion extravaganza! An interesting script, puzzling, slow moving, flashbacks with lots of hugs!
I was expecting a spirit based thriller that would turn me off at first scary scene! But this hearwarming kdrama was a surprise! Great script, touches the heart with a twist!
Just finished all 24 episodes & find the last episode to be overwhelmed with too many surgeries & less personal inter-action, hmmm...do I see the brewing of a 3rd Season? I would like to thank and compliment the translator of subtitles for a job well done! Without the quick & precise running of the subtitles, audience would find it difficult to keep up & enjoy this medical drama! The cast were outstanding, everyone played a convincing role. This is a heartwarming, medical romcom highlighting food, snacks, coffee, the band but emotionally centered on the hospital patients! The OST playlist was an added bonus to this heartfelt drama! Personally, I was flabbergasted with the versatility of Yoo Yeon Seok who morphed from a swashbuckling Samurai in 'Mr Sunshine' to sweet lips pediatrician! 💋
Really! Throughout the vast, wild grasslands she's touted to be the most beautiful woman and has a king, his sons all desiring her! Gimme a break! Add scheming, bitchy back stabbing & jealousies of the other court ladies, you have the predictable palace melodrama! Besides her touted beauty, she's also a reckless fighter for justice! I may view a few more episodes but at Ep 11, I've just had enough of her immature arrogance and the groveling princes!
This is the first historical kdrama that I find boring with long winded dialogue, lots of it, bad casting, questionable acting and lousy music! First few episodes with the youngsters looked encouraging but then they grew into full adults quickly but the king & queen never aged at all! ML looked lost and listless and somehow the whole drama lacked chemistry! Quit at episode 15!
REVENGE well planned, flawlessly executed! Hate to think schools could turn a blind eye to school bullying that take on unbelievable physical pain for unfortunate students because of social status & the meek! This is a gripping, provocative, sweet revenge kdrama calculated on emotions that ultimately bring down the guilty! A really great script! ML's cute but not up to par, feel no chemistry between the leads and I'm at a lost about the bland ending?
What a surprise! Interesting script, no soapy romance, well cast! Jung Kwan Ryul as King Suk Jong gets an Oscar for perfect portrayal of a monster king! ML was outstanding and support cast made this historical kdrama exciting. Glad that evil Lee In Jwa got the worst punishment ever! Great viewing!
Missed Mu Deok after watching Alchemy of Souls Pt. 1, disappointed with Pt 2 without her! Looked for another kdrama with actress, Jung So Min and found this gem! Nice to see her in a modern-day setting and she's just as adorable as in AOS. Lee min Ki is awesome in his role as a no-nonsense, almost emotionless landlord! This is a mature audience drama that deals with deep rooted family traditions, love & marriage & everyday worklife! Casting was perfect & the screen writer gives the audience life reflections to ponder in books & poems. Not thrilling but heartwarming!
Just watched Part 1 again for the 3rd time! This is a kdrama that has an excellent script, awesome actors, sets, costumes & OST! Lee Jae Wook, my main crush is perfect in the ML role! Terribly disappointed with Part 2 without Mu Deok! Instead we have a clingy newcomer, without a trace of sassy Mu Deok, ever ready to get married & believe her beauty is a gift to men! Gimme a break! Naksu had shifted her soul into the blind Jin Buyeon aka Mu Deok, a beautiful love relationship blossoms while JU is being trained by her. As this exciting story continues with sub plots it doesn't make any sense at end when she's rescued from the Lake & taken care of by Master Lee, she returns in a new body aka clingy GYG! Part 2 should have centered around JU's relentless pursuit of finding & saving Mu Deok with the ice stone! Would have been so happy to see the reappearance of Mu deok & their joyous marriage!
Snippets of everyday people enjoying an ordinary cup of coffee! So simple a theme and yet profound when in 12 episodes you learn the intricacies of coffee roasting & the wonderful warm feeling of a perfect cup of Joe! A light hearted kdrama with a great cast, will make you savor your next cup of coffee like fine wine!
Tried very hard to proceed with this drama hoping it'll get better but just couldn't endure FL's pathetic, child like persona & constant sobbing! Altough a young fairy they could have characterised her as adorable & sassy not childish! An actress with better acting skills like Zhao Lusi would have nailed this role! The speedy subtitles & introduction of various Gods, tribes, celestial locations, realms, etc. in this highly anticipated Wuxia with Dylan Wang just fizzled out for me!
This college romcom was one of my top 3 favorites when I first started watching TV dramas a few yrs ago. Credited with almost 400 dramas to my viewage, it's still one of my favorite rewatches, often with fast forward editing to half the episodes! The script revolves around the inexperiences of first love and subsequent confused emotions of a spoilt, rich, immature, obnoxious Dao Ming Si & a kind hearted, naive, simple, not to be threatened Shan Cai. Great acting chemistry of Dylan Wang & Shen Yue portraying this lovable, bickering duo! Some of the sub plots in between to extend the episodes was a yawn but I still enjoy this cute cdrama and will watch it again as a refreshing, picker upper from long-winded historical & crime dramas!
Almost passed on this delightful, hilarious historical romcom! I dislike time travel dramas with confusing back & forth scenes and was hesitant after watching first few episodes. Glad I continued because THIS drama has an outrageously funny twist to gender swapping & time travel! SHS in 'Stranger 1' was great but she outshines in this drama with her outstanding portrayal. Another awesome production from Dragon studio and truly a must watch!
Long excruciating sad & poignant moments became painful for the viewer! Funny, not really!
