(My own theory) I think I know who the dude in the mask is/was. He’s that platinum haired “uncle” that was supposedly close to MQQ. Too coincidental for his sudden disappearance and always appearing in the mask by asswipe dad’s side and then by SYS and when MQQ sacrificed her core (obviously, where else would it go) to seal the bad juju back in that place, she sensed an immortal presence there. And immortals usually aren’t allowed there or something; that dude seems like the only choice. Not really sure why he couldn’t just take the bad juju and use it himself, but needed some other person to do so. Was his cultivation not high enough?
They’re just good friends and this is a Chinese drama so that element is automatically out.
That wouldn’t make any sense. If anything, he was asking for his advice, whether he thought SR was a good person not whether Mr. Luo had feelings for her. He’d met her all of 3 times.
Agree...If only he talked to Luo Zhan first who managed to put things into perspective most of the time. Unfortunately…
But she said that in regards to depression, not PTSD. With PTSD in combat situations, you don’t send the patient back into a combat zone. Not a single doctor would ever do that. As soon as PTSD is diagnosed the soldier or the volunteer or the whomever in said combat zone is immediately discharged. Because they pose a danger, not just to themselves, but to others as well.
He told Jiang Yu too, so we have two people who know, but not Song Ran 🥲He really needs to let her do things…
Oh, I know he told the kid because that was in the preview and got a punch out of it. I haven’t watched the episodes yet; I’m going to. But I agree he needs to tell her. They promised to open up to each other and yet they are or at least right now he is keeping this big secret from her.

Yeah, you misunderstood the context. He explained what he meant right after because to him, SR is a good person, but LZ is his close friend. Hence, the difference.
So he did ultimately at least tell Mr. L re memory returning. That’s a good step in the not bottling it up part. Plus reached out to the therapist for meds; he’s reaching out but a bit at a time which is good but I wish he told her too. He needs to trust her enough to know she won’t leave him.
Was the punch in the mouth worth it? Very poor decision to tell that kid first; firstly for obvious reasons and also because he was causing the kid more trauma he didn’t need at the moment though his heart was in the right place. This is where LZ needed to be in a better mind frame and have a mediator present if he wished to tell the kid. Plus the kid’s reaction and everything overall made things even worse for him. He’s making a lot of very poor decisions now. Now mind you I have not watched the episodes just the preview and a little clip now on Weibo but I wish he told her or Mr. L first.
