İt's not a good comparison to make because Secret is a melodrama while this has blends of comedy, melo and trauma. But if you really wanted an answer, then yes, it is better than Secret. Secret made me cry throughout, KMHM made me laugh as much as it made me cry.
Ji Sun is such an amazing actor, he really brought all the personalities to life as if they were whole new persons. İ loved all of Cha Do Hyun's personalities. İ thought 'Filter' gave me a huge spoiler about this show but it was so much more than that, so glad İ continued to watch this. Honestly, it's just as much hilarious as it is melodramatic, and while Ri Jin's screeching bothered me sometimes, her character was overall endearing and her family was crazy but İ loved all of them too. 10/10
Just finished this... frankly, I didn't see any motivation behind the romance of both the leads. It felt like…
I think I understand how the ML fell for her. Over the past 10 episodes he keeps asking his fiance, Ahn Do and his assistant if they know what love is or if it exists. To him, his relationship with his fiance is a business deal, he lost the only person he genuinely felt something for and the man Ahn Do betrayed his girlfriend for power and money. Then he observes this woman going through the craziest things in life without complaining, and then he realises that she did it for love. İn my opinion it was easy for him to fall for her because she was the clearest example of love for him.
I've seen the Turkish remake of this show 'Meryem'. It's really good, but it had 30 episodes so I guess the story…
So I'm watching the original version now and I wasn't prepared for how gruesome this is. They really watered down the oppression the female lead suffered in the Turkish version. That was painful to watch but this is heartrenching.
I like this drama so far, but the inconsistency with FL's wardrobe and the fact that she can't afford rent is killing me. Girl, how are you wearing Louboutins with that bank account! 😭
Love like the Galaxy, Story of Kunning Palace, Kill me Love me, The Double, The Blossom (ML is not that much of…
Hey, I don’t have a lot of recommendations for historical Cdramas, but here are a few from K & C dramas, both modern and historical, with mostly tsundere male leads from shows I absolutely love. Though, I’m more interested in yandere leads.
Kdramas: Faith - time travel (2012) Oh My Venus (2015) The Master's Sun (2013) Secret (2013) - I've seen the Turkish version which was based on this show, it was amazing. Doom at your service (2021) Goong (2006) She was pretty (2015)
Cdramas: Till the end of the moon (2023) - I haven't finished this yet, but the ML has the same vibes. Love between fairy and devil (2022) The Romance of Tiger & Rose (2020) Lost Romance Love Like the Galaxy
?? If you are in a relationship and get attracted to another person, the relationship is over. And no it's not…
Being attracted to an actor whom you have less than 1% chance of being with and being attracted to someone who confesses their feelings to you, while you're in a committed relationship is different. In this case, Yu Ba Bi was definitely wrong, he wasn't simply attracted to her, he consistently found her cute and his world was shaken when she confessed to him. His reason cell stops his love cell from disclosing when he fell in love with Yumi because it happened while he was still in a relationship with the reporter. This shows us that Ba Bi has the tendency to waver when he's in a committed relationship. The show itself isn't about anyone's personal preferences in a relationship. Yumi was in a 7 year relationship with someone who cheated on her, so being with someone who may have feelings for another person is automatically a deal breaker for her.
The cells are particularly unhinged in the second season, and I love them even more. Yo Ba Bi is adorable in the show, not in the webtoon though. A lot of scenes in the show with Babi are actually Shin's scenes from the webtoon, so now I'm eager to see how the writers for season 3 portray Shin.
Really enjoyed watching this. Loved the story and the cases they worked on. Ju Ji Hoon and Hye Soo are amazing actors, but the last scene in episode 8 with Ju Ji Hoon at the verge of tears was peak acting. İ could really feel him holding back tears as his forehead quivers, embarrassed to cry in front of her. That was a beautiful scene. ❤️
This drama is very slow-paced but the story is good and the actors are phenomenal. İ only picked it up because…
My favourite characters are the FL's three friends. They're super chill and cute and I loved all their scenes. Great queen is kinda awesome too, if only she could speak a little faster, sigh. The SFL is soooo boring, İ skipped most of her scenes.
