Whoa, thanks so much for explaining it. İ just didn't understand the reason behind the dowager queen appointing the son of a deposed queen as king. The king (Yi Heon) asks the same question in the drama repeatedly, and while I now understand why she was deposed, the drama never clearly explained why they had her killed.

Did they ever explain why his mother was killed? Because that's the only part İ didn't understand.

naah, I've seen mature dramas that were really engrossing. This was just plain boring.

Favourite supporting characters are Song Yu De (FL's dad) and Fugui. Also the three-way stabbing scene literally had me howling.

This is one of the funniest Chinese shows İ've ever watched. The supporting characters are hilarious, but the story and acting from each cast member is phenomenal. There isn't a single episode where İ haven't laughed out loud.

The novel was inspired by Professor Lee Guk Jong, but it would be wrong to say that it depicts his life exactly as is. Most of the show is fiction.

It's based on a webtoon called Trauma Center: Golden Hour.

İkrrrr this show was boring and full of lazy writing overall.

Also, I was rooting for Shin Se Gi until the end. ❤️
