Yes, all abusive men should be punished, but this is a fictional show where a character took the responsibility to compensate as much as she could for the crimes of her brother while still loving him. Family dynamics, even in the real world are complicated. How are you a better person for wishing rape on a woman whose only crime it seems here is that she didn't behave exactly the way you expected her to.

I saw this trailer for a mini English series for some app, and it had the same premise. It was ridiculous then too. 🤣

Exactly, my biggest put off was every time I thought he's finally going to find out they would drag it another episode. after episode 7 I just skipped each episode trying to find a scene where he finally finds out but I ended up skipping more than half the show.😭

Insane but true.😂 One would think you'd actually enjoy that many kisses in a show but after a while it just gets annoying especially since there're so many forced kisses.

I completely turned off my brain and I still had to drop it. Overall production quality isn't bad, it's just that the plot drags so much. The kisses were amazing and at times when I was really put off with all the nonconsensual scenes, I just skipped over them. At the end I dropped it after he found out.

I had to skip 20+ episodes hoping he would find out, lmao. could have been a good drama with 15 episodes.

I love fun and healthy comment sections where the critique is also fun to read. Haters ruin it for everyone, I wouldn't mind reading a thorough review where someone accurately breaks down the issues with this show. Gives you a chance to understand the story from a different perspective.

I think some people watch historical dramas through an overly modern lens, criticizing stories, characters, and social norms based on their contemporary values rather than evaluating them within their historical context. I often see comments here impose present-day expectations on works that were never intended to reflect current sensibilities. I think people would enjoy things more if they watched shows for what the story actually is rather than how they feel it should portray their current values.

This is one of the few historical dramas that is action-packed in every episode. I've been on my toes since I started episode 1 and have binged it to episode 22 in one day, it's that crazy and good. Bar a few clichés, it's been different from all the family revenge dramas I have seen in the past months... Don't know how you're gauging this to be poor.

İ overlooked her wardrobe, but İ couldn't with her acting. Her expressions were all over the place. The only time she looked sincere was in the scenes she was crying.

He is a prince, but in title only. He's been given charge of a particular area, his family has had this title from ages. However, he is not related to the royal family but is considered royalty, and isn't allowed to enter the capital without the order of the emperor. Since he also commands a huge army. Him entering the capital without being summoned is equal to rebellion.

Loved both Song Ha Yoon and Lee Jun in this show, it's a fun watch and the story isn't too bad. Except for the last scene where an NIS agent can't seem to find a knife in a kitchen and proceeds to bang on a steel railing with a water bottle while a fire is breaking out, the drama wasn't all bad.
