It's obvious Myungsoo is the ML here i think they'll end up together, I can sense it. Btw Myung soo last drama…
Same, I don't think so either, but you never know. A couple KDramas have mixed it up recently with giving supposed second leads the girl.
But whatever happens, I'm here for it. So far the series is great, but I really do wonder how it will go. We have a lot of episodes left, so there's plenty of time to change things!
Okay, I was ready to defend Tik here. Given that he's playing a king and she's a princess, I didn't think the age difference was a big deal. And as someone who actually likes Kimmy (especially her work with Mark), I was super excited for this one.
But the others are right. This isn't about Tik's age. Actors like Ken, Weir, and Pong still have AMAZING presences. This is just about Tik as an actor. He still looks good, but his entry was like...is that all? He should be a powerful charismatic king, but he just seems kind of...there.
On the other hand, Pop swept in and had me immediately captivated. I fully agree that he should have been the lead, or they could've found a better older actor. Super disappointed, though I'll probably watch more to see if he grows on me.
The message on Muse was clarified by Chandelier Lee on her Facebook page saying that she's not a subber, only…
Muse did that to openly call her out because she steals others' work. While she make think she's just sharing, by doing that she is going against what groups like Muse have specifically asked - that no one repost their work anywhere and just link people who want to watch back to their site. Muse literally had to shut down their FB because the companies kept going after them, and it was fan donations that allowed them to open their own website so that they can continue to provide us subs.
Anyway, they're back to subbing, so hopefully people like her will get the message and STOP swiping and reposting the work of others.
Is anyone else thinking that maybe Myungsoo isn't going to get the girl in this one (for the millionth time lol - is he becoming the new Ji Soo??)?
Like, he's literally a cat, which..okay, we can work around that because fantasy, but it also seems like he might act as a catalyst (no pun intended) for Seo Ji Hoon and Shin Ye Eun's characters, since they seem to have quite a lot between them already.
There was no need for ep 1 lol i directly watched ep 2 by mistake and the story fits in i dont find need to watch…
Lol, I get what you mean, but ep 1 sets up the background for our lead female mainly, and creates a sense of anticipation for what's to come. We also get our lead female's philosophy on people - that everyone is either a dog or cat person, and that she dislikes cat people (as far as we know, because her crush is a cat person and she can never understand his real feelings, and also her dad who is a lazy cat that shows little emotion lol).
It's very obvious too. At one point, I had been used to some lakorns avoiding real kisses, and having their leads…
No, it's probably Noon herself. She didn't have real kisses with Ken in Rareng Fai, and we know Ken will do real kisses, even after being married. Some nang'ek literally have anti-kiss clauses in their contracts. It's more of an old school thing, but Noon is of course older.
I'm very averse sexual assault so if they brush something like that aside, I doubt I'll enjoy the series
It would probably be more accurate to refer to it as sexual molestation, but could technically classify as assault. There is one scene that is absolutely assault without penetration (it's a great scene, but by today's standards, it is most definitely nonconsensual, whether the other person ends up liking it or not). But if you're worried about actual penetrative assault, that does not happen.
Now that I'm rewatching the series, I realized there's a part I'm always confused at. In episode 9, where Tharn…
The interesting and unique (for a BL) thing about Tharn and Type's relationship is that while Tharn is the seme/top, Type is absolutely the dominate in the actual relationship. When Tharn tries to force himself on Type, he's trying to regain control of him in the only way he can - because he's sexually dominant. Type defeats that by kicking him to ensure that Tharn knows he's the one really in control.
That being said, yeah, that dynamic is completely unhealthy, and considering how clingy Tharn was shown to be in Love By Chance, without even ever being on the screen, I'm not so sure their relationship ever becomes totally healthy. But hey, this is still a fictional romance. It's not supposed to be 100% realistic.
I feel y'all are abbreviating the shows just to confuse ppl????
lol, it's because all these shows generally connect (companies, actors, authors, etc), so usually if you're watching one Thai BL, you've seen the others. I highly recommend following Lazy Subber on FB, as she updates with all the currently running ones and gives behind the scenes info! <3
Your feeling about Lhong is 100% correct. Wait and see what he actually did to Tar in the past for Tar to be like…
Oh, I know! I just couldn't remember the name of the character that did it, lol. But after his reaction TT dating, I was like, "Ope, there he is." Ugh, poor Tar. He's driving me nuts in this, but I'm trying to remember how heartbroken I felt for him in LBC.
I was just going to say this... TT portrayed it in a MUCH better way than DBKTT enveloped it in 1 episode. DBK…
I'm not saying Kao isn't at fault too. They both handled the situation horribly. But Kao did turn Non down multiple times. What's he supposed to do more than that? Hit a highschooler? There's a reason Pete hasn't just laid him out either. Non is still just a kid, if an infuriating one.
The thing I like about PeteKao's situation is that really it just comes down to Pete's feelings about Kao still being in the closet. All of their issues stem from that, and that's why Kao can't be firm about his position with Non either.
I respectfully have to disagree that Type ever felt secure in his relationship with Tharn. That's WHY Tharn has to keep constantly reassuring him, and visa versa. I mean, the whole San thing happened right before the Tar thing. It's just one test after another with them. They barely know each other as it is, so they're just as the stage where they're working everything out. It's normal for neither one of them to feel perfectly secure.
Bruh, Kaownah (Lhong) KILLED that scene with Type when he was drawing everything out and sipping his sprite lol. Great acting! It's weird how he's so lovable, when all hints point to him being a psycho (that's not a spoiler, that's just the feeling I get).
ep 10 started out so cute and got rough. Really looking forward to the next ep to smooth it out.
I was just going to say this... TT portrayed it in a MUCH better way than DBKTT enveloped it in 1 episode. DBK…
FR, the difference in DBK and TT is that Type could've been reasoned with about this whole thing. Pete in DBK has always been viciously jealous and no amount of talking wouldn't convinced him that Kao could continue tutoring Non. (Though, in his SLIGHT defense, Non has been after Kao from the beginning lol)
I’m so tired of the lies and the drama. I’m almost ready for them to just break up. I hate love triangles.…
It's not a love triangle, it's just the same thing they've been trying to get to the whole time - actually trusting each other. Tharn is still scared of losing Type, so he thought it was better to just hide the fact that he was talking to Tar, but obviously that wasn't the right thing to do. They're in a new relationship, they're young, and they're just trying to figure things out. That's literally the entire series.
i can't stand Thar...sorry, it's just i don't understand why the choose him , he is so annoying for me, his face…
Have you watched Love By Chance, which came out before this? He's played by a different actor, but you find out what happened with Thar in that one. He's struggling with severe depression and trauma from something terrible that was done to him by someone associated with Tharn. Tharn tries to help him out because they still care about each other as friends.
But whatever happens, I'm here for it. So far the series is great, but I really do wonder how it will go. We have a lot of episodes left, so there's plenty of time to change things!

Either way, I think it's off to a great start and I'm really looking forward to seeing more!
