What ๐ฎhe lied to her about every damn thing in their relationship, finally karma is getting him .๐คทโโ๏ธ๐ฌ๏ธ๐ช๐ช๐ช๐ช
He tried to tell her many times but was always cut. She even stopped him from saying anything and made him keep the pretense (cause what? she wasn't okay with him lying?). If anything, she controlled the conversation and then we're blaming him for not telling her anything? Didn't ask her what she wanted to do? She did everything she wanted to do while in his keeping. ๐ She lost her memory, not her ability to think. She was told he is her husband, but her actions are her own. She had doubts, she could have chosen to not make the relationship work but she did pursue it.
She pretended to be a concubine hence whether she really is or not, her reputation is already tainted. Isn't being his legal and sole wife (without additional concubines) better than her established bad rep? Also, she can easily say she isn't the wife if she wanted to, since CXZ gave her the freedom to do what she thinks is right when her memory is back.
She felt caged, and maybe she was, but I don't think someone caged can go about their way enough to actually find time to investigate. ๐
Let's not make it a case as if she isn't a strong and capable woman who can do as she pleases. She can, and she was allowed to (with secret guards).
I just love how CXZ acts around his JieJie. The makeup. Another reason to miss and think of LMT. ๐โค๏ธ๐ญ
I love seeing ZWY's face dance during the scene. Now that CXZ has nothing to hide from LMT, it seems ZWY was finally given the opportunity to show loose and more expressive facial reactions.

It's fun to see ZWY's face dance in a matter of seconds during the scene. Now that CXZ has nothing to hide from LMT, it seems ZWY is finally given the opportunity to show loose and more expressive facial reactions.
Lol you know "fake purity" c-drama watchers... In their eyes, a character can only be awesome if he accepts all…
I'm pretty sure, his character's doing okay in China as CXZ usually is in the top 3 ranking of fave characters. That or people just love ZWY regardless if his character is likeable or not. ๐
LW: So, Lord Huaiyang, how do you plan to deal with LW?CXZ: I'll give you one more chance. Don't you have a dagger?…
It's kind of funny though that she was the one who lit the fire and stabbed him to end all relations/connections (and to seemingly make them even in their fight) when it was their group who broke the truce in the first place. They were 'even' hence, a need for a truce. Regardless if she was the one who broke it or not, from the outside looking in, CXZ held true with his part in the agreement. But yeah, she had to do it so he won't pursue her while she does everything she needs to do first before attending to her love life. This is that 'hate me so you can move on' trope which is really a disguised 'hate me so I can hate you and move on' trope. ๐ Either way, I'm just surprised how some can still hate on CXZ and love LMT like she isn't the one who's got the upper hand in this story. ๐ It's not like CXZ never told her to do what she sees fit once she regained her memory. In fact she was already doing whatever she pleases even when her memory is lost.
That aside, the scene was beautiful because it was poetic and the actors gave the poem justice. Also, is it just me or anyone else has the same idea about the bgm? I felt like the melody of closing ost was better suited for the scene (yeah, I know the lyrics to the one used suits it better).
Yeah, they overdramatized the fire in the cave and hairpin scenes. At least the hairpin scene, they were by themselves.…
I'm afraid your words are going to happen. I don't want him to grovel but I also feel it's heading that direction. It irks me just thinking about it. ๐ Many people lied to me but I never stabbed them. So I don't get the drama of having CXZ suffer unjustly. Granted, looking at it carefully, it symbolized an end to their relationship, I still thought it too much (considering LMT has more actions that warranted her asking for forgiveness and not the other way around). Scene in terms of execution by both actors is commendable though. But that's a separate issue.
I attempted to watch the flโs two previous dramas (have a crush on you and fireworks of my heart), and her character…
Lol! I retraced the thread. The first comment on your reply to the og post was intended for the og post and not your reply. ๐ From there, everyone went on to talk about two different series like it was one and the same. ๐
