I'm scared to start this, but not cause of the possible heartbreak or love triangle, but due to the so many episode cuts!! I'm afraid it will be butchered, incoherent, and terribly edited -- can someone answer this comment after 5-10 episodes are out to comment on the quality of the edits? Thanks in advance (I love FSF in historicals btw)!!
Can someone please answer to this comment when either official or other accurate & good subtitles are out for all the episodes of both Part 1 & Part 2?
I loved this drama, one of the best mystery/suspense Asian dramas I've watched (though I admit I haven't watched much yet)! I think it got too much under the radar while airing, properly because it's rather different and kinda slow for most people (meaning not full of non-stop action and suspense all the time, and the events take a time to unfold - some characters' actions & reactions won't make sense at the start until much later when we'll get all the backstory, and I suspect many wouldn't have the required patience.). As for me, I appreciated not only the plot, but also the "quiet" moments, the character unfolding & character development, and --maybe my favourite things in it-- the symbolism & the philosophy!
The trailer kinda reminds me of "Princess, You have 5 Husbands" (but with less slapstick comedy of course), it seems like she marries both guys somehow & then has to decide who to keep? Interesting! :D
Anyway, I'm SO starved of ANY costume drama atm that I'll definitely give this a chance!!
Wait, actually, if anything really bad happens to our main leads, we riot -- they're both so precious & must be protected (along with their "child")!
