Synopsis: New Chinese Drama "Cao Cao 曹操" is not like the Romance of The Three Kingdoms, but based on the Real History of Three Kingdoms in Eastern Han Dynasty. Cao Cao, a warlord who rose to power towards the end of the Eastern Han dynasty and laid the foundation for the state of Cao Wei in the Three Kingdoms period. The series aimed to portray a more historically accurate image of Cao Cao, who is traditionally depicted as a villain in Chinese culture.
I have something similar upcoming where I talk about dramas I should've dropped (from my perspective), why I didn't…
I love surprises!
And one of my New Year resolutions for 2022 is to only watch one or two dramas at a time, finishing one before I start a new one (kinda like your "mummy" dating advice, lol!), with the exception being currently airing dramas. Let's see how it goes!
I'd heard the title of your upcoming article for a while, but I though it would be an introspective one with your adventures while "dating" dramas, and if you recommend other people going the same root, something like this!! While my original thought on what it would be about would also be something I'd potentially find interesting to read… this is so much better & a great surprise!! I love the innovation on this article and the interactive feel to it!! :)
There are several pictures/ideas that drawn me in, but I didn't click on anyone yet, 'cause I've got SO much on my plate right now to watch... And I want to be completely focused on my potential date when I do so!! :)
So this is coming soon to Netflix in my region… I'm wondering if I could watch it as a standalone without the prequels, and knowing next to nothing of this era?
So, how many episodes in total? It's only season 1 or they have finished filming all the episodes but divided…
I think they've finished filming all the episodes and divided it into 2 parts/seasons, 'cause last year the episode count was rumoured to be about 60, then it became 50 this year, and now finally 38 episodes but just for the 1st season/part.
I have a feeling they're gonna air the 2nd season right after or a little after the 1st, like they did with Qin Dynasty Epic (2020 Tencent drama), and No Boundary (2021 iQIYI drama).
This is just my assumption of course, no official announcement yet, I think!
it's not really pure wuxia, there are some xianxia elements (even though not much), the novel is labeled as Xianxiahttps://www.novelupdates.com/series/sword-of-coming/
Hi Estelll, I also have a little list of dramas I'd like to be subbed maybe you can pick some costume dramas for…
Feel free to add them if you like!! :) I'll check out your list when I can, thank you!! (I also have a custom one myself with all dramas, I just made a voting list for historical cdramas specifically for starts, and since they tend to get ignored more than the modern ones)
Thank you for the comment! ❤️They aren't here because I haven't watched these dramas yet :DOn the drama page,…
Though I should warn you if you decide to start watching Sound of the Desert, it has a very heartbreaking love triangle!! (But it's one of those rare cases that I didn't mind the love triangle, because both guys had a chance & they both deserved her, in a way...)
Thanks for your article!! How come Zhangsun Wuji from Legend of Fu Yao and Wei Wuji from Sound of the Desert aren't here? Both playful & mischievous, especially around their fls!

It's a good drama imo, heartbreaking, but HE at the same time, if that makes sense! :D (TERRIBLE cgi though, lol!)
