Thank you for this!!! This really is a unique article, taking us into a tour to get to know a city, I really hope more of this type of articles follow for different cities/areas each time!!
And as for Chongqing, I admit all I'd heard about it before is that Xiao Zhan is from there, and that its cuisine is spicy, lol! So thanks for letting me know more, it really sounds like a cool city to visit (in my dreams, ha ha)!! :)
I also fell in love with dubbing for the first time after watching The Untamed!! In fact, I'm chasing all dramas Bian Jiang is voicing characters in after that; not only is his voice butterfly-in-my-stomach inducing hot (imagine him whispering in your ear -- goosebumps!!!), but he also changes it subtly every time to match the character & actor's voice, he's marvellous!!
Oh, and another actor who's always dubbing his own voice but you didn't mention is Wang Kai -- his voice is eargasm to me, lol!!
Wait! So does that mean that Chinese dramas record visuals and voices separately ? Is this the case? I'm shell…
They usually record voices on site as well, but then (as Ellietheelai said) they record voices again in post-production, in studio, by professional voice actors, and dub this over most (or the most problematic) scenes! Except for some rare times when the regular actors record their own voices themselves. When the production, editing, and voice acting team have all worked well, you can barely notice the dubbing (especially if not a native mandarin speaker & busy reading subtitles to notice the syncing quality, like me, lol). That said, there have been several cases where the dubbing quality is far from being great, but I've personally grown to ignore it. :)
Oh, I wouldn't mind if both her & her husband played in NiF 3!! ^_^ They were excellent in Story of Ming Lan (who…
Yeah I know! :/ The comment was made 6 months ago… Which just goes to show, they're really taking their time with it, maybe we'll see another NiF by 2030, lol!
Asking for spoilers: I found this while searching the tags Happy ending and Multiple couples, can you tell me…
Not really Multiple couples, there's the main couple & a secondary couple (the 4 main leads in the cast).
Thankfully, no love triangles! (The second male lead pretends to like the female lead in a couple of episodes to get his best friend -the male lead- to realise his feelings, but thankfully it gets resolved pretty quickly!) :)

Ideal for me would be 25-35 minutes long episodes with around 10 episodes long -- not draggy, but not feeling disconnected either!!

And it's definitely a happy ending!!!
They have subs in various languages, and they're gonna release 2 new subbed episodes each day from Thursday to Sunday (6/week).
