I totally agree with you!!! I'm fine with people dropping dramas left & right -- if it doesn't suit their mood, why bother? BUT why Rate or even Review dramas they dropped? What's the point in that? If they want to give their opinion, they could always leave a comment on the drama's page/post in feeds on why they didn't like it enough to continue, that doesn't warrant a review by no means!!!

Anyway, speaking about the drama, maybe my biggest complaint about it is the English title they finally choose... It's not about any rebel and not about a princess, really, lol. It's more a very dramatic and very epic journey of our A'Wu & our Xiao Qi as they navigate the treacherous waters of royal conflict & war, trying their best to make the best decisions for the country & its people, amongst their own treacherous relatives, loved ones, brethren, and acquaintances who have their own (secret) motives, and nourish their very loving relationship along the way, learning to trust each other, and growing as characters.
Okay, this is an awful synopsis, yours was much better, lol!
And I really recommend this to anyone, and it really should be a REQUIRED VIEWING for anyone writing those immature & aggressive male leads in dramas (especially the wrist-grabbers in K-dramas, lol!), here's how a ML should really be, one who knows his boundaries, respects, trusts, protects, and loves his FL passionately & come what may, while still being super badass himself!!!
Anyone knows who has dubbed Wallace Chung in this drama? I thought it may be Bian Jiang 'cause his voice seems familiar, but I checked out Bian Jiang's Douban page & it isn't credited by him, although they might just haven't added it yet.
Anyway, I like his voice here, despite being very different from his voice on General and I for example, but very fitting for his character!!

Yes, there IS something for everyone here in Asian Dramaland! And if I were to add some other dramas good for newbies, they would be: Joy of Life (plot-driven, edge-of-your-seat agony on what's gonna happen next & what anyone's motive is and who's who and all the world-related mysteries...!), Rebel: Thief who stole the people (great historical production with a little bit of everything & feel-good ending), Kingdom (you can never go wrong with zombies, lol, and the good thing is this is more action/thriller than horror so it can be enjoyed by a wider audience, not to mention small), Nirvana in Fire & The Rise of Phoenixes (China's answers to Game of Thrones, in a way), and Hikaru no Go (the feels!!!!!).
I really hope VIKI will pick this up & license it for international viewers, cause I don't trust Youku on actually providing subs for all the episodes on their YouTube channel, despite their claims (and I really hope they aren't machine-translated)!
